Man, stick skills do not matter, I’ve been cheated in so many differnet ways in my last 4 or 5 games.
I’m with you. I’m 49-5 in ranked and my last few games on HOF have just been disgusting
Last game my opponent was closing in on his 10th K but was beating me 1-0, and had 5-6 hits to my 2
I had 0 strikeouts at that point. None of my good contact would go for a hit. Just lineout after lineout
His first run came off a leadoff double when he swung very late on an inside sinker that he blooper the other way against the shift. The game decides to reward that swing/input while simultaneously screwing me over when I’d swing with good timing and pci placement
He then went up 3-0 off a 2 run shot that was a good swing. But funny how right when he went up 3, I hit a 2 run shot with Brett on a swing where my PCI barely scraped the ball…the game decided the reward that swing?? It felt disgusting
I ended up winning 4-3 in extras but it was the most frustrating and unenjoyable experience. Feels like you’re battling a terribly programmed game as well as your opponent

Just because you have a good record in a game doesn’t mean you can’t voice your opinion or frustration with the game
I’m 49-5 and have had garbage experiences time and time again in this game when playing H2H. Do I choose to still play the game knowing this? Yeah cause I love baseball
But gameplay this year is just bad, doesn’t matter if you’re great at the game or average, the game plays terribly online
Can we at least acknowledge both sides though? It doesn't make the game better if it happens to both sides, like OP saying half his losses are probably BS, but surely some wins have to be to though right?
I’ve gotten lucky sometimes, I am 100% even tho I can’t remember, I believe I’ve had less than 5 lucky wins and to say 5 maybe is too many.
When I am getting rewarded I barely make it past the 4th inning, so most of my wins are early quits because I’m outplaying my opponentns.
I don't think you can say with any certainty it's only 5 or less because you are biased towards yourself, which is only natural. Again, that doesn't make the game better or good, but these are the type of messages that make it easy to dismiss claims by just complaining. The ole "It's always when you lose and not when you win lol" comments.
Your opinion is valid and unbiased, this is why I like to engage in these debates with you. Last night I complained after a win tho. I really want balance and consistency.

There is man, this is a videogame. There has to be some type of consistency in what determines the outcomes, players should be rewarded and punished in accordance to their input and it has to go both ways.
I expect consistency, I want to be punished when I don’t do good, just the same way I expect to be rewarded when I do. Baseball is not like soke other sports, so of course I know not every squared up ball will find grass or leave the ballpark, I just want the game to be the same to both players
Spot on. Let me lose when I’m playing bad, don’t bail me out. Also let me succeed when I’m playing well, don’t nerf the outcomes of my good input to force a close game.
I believe this is what the majority of the us in the whine gang want.
Preach it brother! I actually messaged a guy the other night because I felt bad I won. He clearly hit more solid balls than I did but I still won 1-0. I'm grateful for any win in an event but it's not fun winning like that just like it's not fun losing like that.

It’s very aggravating and frustrating, if I had the same percentage of good outcomes that my opponent had I probably would’ve mercied him.

Now, is it possible to make good contact with bad timing? I remember all of those were JE, N or JL.
The swings I took with bad timing or bad placement or a combination of both weren’t rewarded, which is fine for me. I’m happy with that result.

I just got scammed big time in Ranked Seasons on HOF difficulty. I am not mad, just disappointed; I sucked my first year and committed to “git gud” and this is what I get for having good pci skills.
I just confirmed it doesn’t matter if you consistently put pci on ball with good timing.
Props to my opponent, 7 out of 9 times he had good swings SDS rewarded him.

While I’m not disagreeing that the feedback and pci are messed up in the game I don’t think you can use this good contact rating as a guide. I will generally check the pci feedback number after a game but never really check this good contact screen. Jumped into a game and checked this after my first inning of play. I had what I thought was ok contact with betts and had a relatively deep fly ball out. Felt like I crushed a ball with Soto and got a deep fly out. Checked after the inning. The betts was an 11. The Soto was a 14. Only the betts showed a contact good. Both were n timing by the way. I’m not even sure that an 11 should show as good but I’m sure a 14 should. My point being is that I just think the pci outcome and the feedback system is a mess right now.

The last straw was them not being able to program a BP pitcher who throws strikes (and no, I didn't have problems with the moments -- they're just garbage).

Yep. Was just on vacation for a few days and haven't touched the game since I uninstalled it on both systems. Enjoying single player RPG's, my first love.
This sorry pathetic [censored] spends time hunting down "evidence" on people by profile sniping and can't even tell the difference between a real game and when your team is being used in MS. My profile will continue to show games played even though I don't touch the thing.
