Sds artificially makes certain cards rare regardless of ovr
-
There is no reason that I've opened packs all year and have not got 1 acuna, tatis, trout, ohtani, degrom etc. It just seems like they just lock the big names into the very bottom of the deep for the odds. I repeatedly pull the same 6 or 7 diamonds all the time. It's like I've literally hit the pay wall where they want me to buy stubs to collect the last 5 teams
-
This isn't news, of course they do. We even see them do it on LS diamond packs when they do flash sales. It's not some big secret. 90+ are rarer
-
That why we learn to flip cards. So that opening packs is just bonus.
-
Agreed. I've literally opened around 1000 packs so far, minimum, and have not ever gotten the expensive players. I wound up buying most of them, all except Trout. He's the last one I need to complete the Live Series. I've noticed his price has dropped recently, but I'm still annoyed every time I open 20 Packs and wind up with nothing but Bronze players worth nothing. It's a scam.

Look at IRL pack or games like Magic the Gathering. They have sets of rares and mythical that are harder to pull than others. It’s the way the packs work. That’s why those cards are rare and higher.
For example if you spend $100 on a complete box of magic cards you have 100% of one mythic (think 90-99 player) out of a box of 36 packs.
Now if you buy a box of 50 off the marketplace using stubs you should receive a diamond card LS card to match that instead of a chase pack that can be a gold.

I don't see where in your argument you prove the "regardless of OVR" statement. You literally listed 4 of the 5 highest rated live series cards in the game and all of them listed have an overall of 90 plus.
It is not news to most of us that 90+ diamonds are rarer than the 85-89 diamonds. It is why Trout is always the most expensive card in the game year after year.

To me this is extremely boring....

This year has been a joke, pack-luck wise. It is infuriating because many come on here bragging about their luck, which only makes things worse.
I need the 2 big Mets. I open a pack, see the Met logo, get excited only to pull Pete Alonso. Come on, man, it's 3 weeks into July. -
Its like this:
Kershaw, Robert, Rodon
Kershaw, Robert, Rodon
Kershaw, Robert, oh what’s this a Met …..AlonzoLol

Your topic title directly contradicts your post. You say SDS makes cards rare regardless of overall, and then chose to name the highest overall live series cards as the ones being too rare.
-
It's common practice in "loot box" games with "surprise mechanics".
The goal is to get you to buy stubs so you can buy packs or buy the cards outright in the marketplace.
-
90+ live series have a much lower chance of being pulled. You’re experiencing math. Call it “artificial” if you want to, whatever that means in this context.

I have great pack luck in Magic but not the Show
-
I’ve pulled Altuve like 9 times lol. I’m not a completionest though so pack luck doesn’t really bother me. Most years the set rewards aren’t that great at this point in the year. This year is different with randy, but I’m still not going to waste energy trying to collect every card
-
No matter the overall then proceeds to only talk about the top live series cards that we all know are rare and have been for years

Yeah I get it. I only do it on my phone through the App when I'm doing something else, usually watching a game or down time at work (I have an office job). If you have the app on your phone and can multi task while watching TV, this can fund your game.
