It is good business for them, non content creators are most likely not doing this. -

True, but I'm not clamoring for Koogs, Movie, Kyle, Twin, or Lefty, etc. to debut the new Kirk, or Jackie rn! I'm trying to progress myself.

You may not like content creators, but that doesn't make my statement any less true. getting out gameplay of hyped up cards as quick as possible guarantees as much views as possible, which translates to more money

I don't have 300K in stubs, but if I did, and I wanted some new card and could have it immediately, then why not? This is a game, and its play-currency (much like Monopoly money) isn't actually real... if they released a 97 Mark Kotsay card and I dropped 300K in stubs for instant gratification, it would have absolutely zero bearing on whether or not I could still replace that failing 30 foot stretch of fence in my back yard.
And, you know, some people might also question the priorities of those who spent the majority of their time grinding out "free" rewards in a video game...
To each their own, homie.
