1 win on legend....what's the best method.

Alright, I'm gonna try this 1 win on legend in Mini Seasons. I'm not the best hitter (pretty bad actually). Would you reccomend I use timing or directional? I don't care if it's a cheap win. I'm pitching Randy followed by the best pen guys in the game. I just need like 1-2 runs max. Help haha.

Oh I can just keep restarting till I get them. Yes, great idea. I hate bunting but maybe I need to so that too. I am not use to this insane pitching on legend.

Speed and bunt specialists on offense and your best players on defense. And don't keep a pitcher in longer than one inning.

Good call on all this. One thing I've noticed, nobody has below an all diamond team anymore.

The team i did it against had its rotation jumbled so i didnt get who i thought, i got gold Fernando, pci barely bigger than the ball, tremendous break...got a hard liner 1B from leadoff a bloop 1B from Howard and Schmidt almost hit a 3RHR on a hanging cb, old MIA scoreboard is way too tall, still a 2R2B which is great cause it was 7 Ks and 2 weak hit out the rest, the RPs were worse than Fernando, all high 90s velo i couldnt touch.
So id say, pick your best contact guys that you hit well with, get a pitcher with low H/9 or low velo, both if you can, and keep doin till you get it. every failed ab is just practice for success. and dont take the cpu hitters lightly, or you blink and its runs across against you.

Refresh season until either Tokyo or Seoul are first game, unless you want to skip. And make sure they are the real qeak line up.
Then go into practice mode and get your timing down in legend.

I did it. I squeaked a run in the 4th with a SB and a Joe Morgan fly out. I won 1-0 with no hits and great pitching from Bobby Miller, Randy Johnson, Josh Hader and Kenley Jansen. Oh wait, I got a bunt hit with Garrett Mitchell but then got thrown out trying to steal.
Still, I did it. Bet it gets me base round but I can't complain, I've had some solid pull luck.

Play a full CPU game on legend first. I actually enjoy it quite a bit after a couple of games. Higher vision stats help a decent bit too.

I got massively lucky sat on fastball only and hit a perfect perfect homerun first at bat. Played one of the best teams but found that they threw a lot of strikes.

Put guys with insane speed like Juan Pierre and Kenny Lofton in your team and use guys with high vision. Your timing windows are better with high vision.

Awesome! I left that one until late in my season. First two times I lost on home runs with 2 out in the last inning against Kenley. I thought I might give up but tried one more time and snuck out a 1 run win.

When I did it I won 1-0 on a Trout HR in 1st, I had a 2nd hit but didn't score. No hit CPU.
