Why can't they fix hitting

IRONMAN "I've noticed that during online ranked game play the weaker the opponent the more susceptible you are to losing." Sorry to disappoint you, but as someone who has played the game back when RTTS was called "career" and your only options were quick game, career and franchise. I only a week or so ago began playing online, and even then, only because I want to unlock certain cards.
I am the guy you WANT to play, because after decades of only playing against the CPU I have to learn to adjust to game play speed glitches, human error, toxic players and bunt/steal cheesers. I sometimes get rattled, and I have played the occasionally good game, but I can honestly say I have NEVER beaten a team with a much better roster or much more experience.
Fact of the matter is I am the one who has to learn to adjust, and from what I have read it seems like you need to as well.

Hope this doesn't get hate but.... I think Homeruns are down this year from The Show 21 imo because I think SDS adjusted the PCI a little. That being said I still think it's OP. Getting a home run from balls well off the zone is highly unlikely in RL baseball but with PCI is still happens. I get frustrated seeing where I pitched the ball and yet it's a perfect homerun. Not including high elevation stadiums. From my experience.
That said, it's no where near as bad imo as it was in The Show 21.
Now the only thing I hate ATM is pitchers with 90+ control and 90+ BB/9 throwing a fastball down the middle for a homerun when I clearly tried to throw it on the corners. That happens in RL though. Even good pitchers miss their spots. Just good hitting don't miss that opportunity.

Some players' internet is not as good as others but sometimes it's the servers. With that said if I have 50 ab's with Acuna for example and I square up all 50 in the meaty part of the PCI with good or perfect contact and 3 result in homers and the rest result in routine fly outs or ground outs meanwhile my opponent does the opposite (pitches outside of the PCI) and hits 20 outta 50 resulting in homers that's a problem.

When you realize the PCI is the batters eye and not the barrel of the bat you will quit whining. When you line it up all youre doing is giving yourself the best roll of the odds.

"skillset" and "competitive" these buzzwords have led to video game activist. People think they deserve to hit .500 on this game and its hilarious. Middling users just think theyre better than they are.

Now I'm gonna go on a limb and say it: I think hitting is perfectly fine, however it is pretty different and feels nerfed compared to last year and years prior. Lots of good contact dying on the track. Which I am cool with, not every solid contact is a hit. But it's definitely harder to turn around a fastball, but I dont have a problem with it per se

Its cause we live in a world of noobs and casual these days with a lack of accountability...when these DD players can't score 10 runs a game they have to blame something cause obviously it can't be them. Hitting is amazing this year, as you all know I play on Legend with pitch speeds maxed with matured sliders so the game plays like a gem. But with newbies and casuals its a hot mess until they take the time to practice and get better, when they don't they come on here and complain like a child.
Offline and online are two very different beasts with the hitting. I play franchise on legend hitting with zone and the game plays great. I go online and hitting is entirely different and less rewarding.

I'm the same way from day one. If i feel i shouldve gotten a better outcome 99% of the time i go back and look it's usually early/late, jammed/off end of bat. Meaning my fault but i have hit a ton more base hits this year compared to last 7 years.

I think the hitting is fantastic as well. But I’m still trying to figure out the sliders to make hitting for me a little more difficult.
For some reason, this year is a little more challenging for me to get the sliders right, but anyhow the game is fun to play.And I may be contradicting myself here, but oh well I’m going to anyways and say that I do enjoy mlb 21 better. And yes, I am a second year rookie with the franchise of the game and don’t have the further years to compare to. I am an Xbox player is the only reason why. But I love baseball ( Boston Red Sox/ Jim Rice fan ).
And I will add this by asking why do me whine and cry about something they can’t control. It’s a game. There’s always going to be something someone doesn’t like.
