So basically what I've decided to do is create an new account. Mid season, with restrictions. I can't buy or sell on the marketplace, no money allowed, no offline grinding. It's all online and the only way I can get new rewards is packs or XP gained from playing Ranked, Events, BR.
It's so much fun because all these cards I would scoff at mean so much to the account. Like Johnny Cueto for example carried me through the events to get Correa, a monumental piece for the team. It's just so much more fun not taking anything for granted and being so barebones.
I made a series out of it if you're interested. 2 episodes a week. https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLlhzIlaE5taH1ZyhtrLcZiWNdVTyh-JF-
For the last couple of years, I’ve made a second account where I don’t allow myself to use meta cards or any card that cost more than 30k. It’s crazy, I always have more fun and play more on the second account. Last year I made ws for the first time with a lineup of dudes like Kyle Farmer, Lars Nootbar, and Max Schrock.
PS - loved your content in the past, I’ll be sure to check out this series

Love this idea! I currently have almost every card in the game and 1.6 million stubs (still NMS believe it or not) and it's honestly a bit boring.
I couldn't do your online-only strategy though (not good enough). I need the best cards to be competitive online.
I would modify your strategy to something like this:
- Start from scratch
- NMS obviously
- No flipping
- Must keep cards I earn and no selling bosses high and buying low (like how I sold Musial and Honus for close to 200K each)
PS I haven't been brave enough to use Johnny Cueto online, but he's currently my favorite offline pitcher. For some reason I dot with him like no other.
Love thisssss

Thank you, also this is why I love this game. You can be really creative if you try to be like this.

Hey a positive thread! Gotta love it!

To me the best part of this game when you team build and not use the best of the nest cards in the game.

mate this is 100% what i have been doing since april - it is the best way to play this game for sure - 0 grinding, 0 collecting, playing with whatever i earn and i play mostly RS or Events thats it - some conquest early on in the year but nothing else

I like mini seasons cause it will in a way make you change up your squad to get missions done, this one switches it up a good amount which I like

Not using the market at all is so so difficult. I find myself ALWAYS wanting to pick someone up
