Does anyone know how to link my progress from my old Xbox series s to my new one?

The progress isn't on your xbox, it's on the server. When you log into your account, your progress will be there.

Use the same profile. all DD stuff is saved server side, the only thing that won't is settings,franchise and rtts.

Are you sure about Franchise and RTTS? I think because of cross-progression, it's all on the server except for March to October.

Yeah,those are saved on the console cause you don't need an internet connection to play them

Ok thanks! Is there a way to transfer it like how I would from ps to Xbox? It’s my buddies Xbox with my good account on it but we want to move it to my Xbox. Only problem is I can’t just login to Xbox with his stuff otherwise he can’t play any games on his

If his Xbox has your good account on it, then log into your good account on your xbox and it will be there. You'll have to have your own copy of the game though.
If you were playing the game on his account, then you will not have access to the progression you made on his account, on his xbox when you log into your xbox (or any other console).
