It happened just now. Was down 6-0 in the 3rd inning & then proceeded to mount a furious comeback and went up 7-6 in the 6th inning and then he rage quit…Why am I posting this? To flex? Sure…A little bit. But mostly it’s to tell everybody to stop quitting games you fall behind in. ALOT can happen, Tough it out!

I find that guys tend to pitch more lazily when they get a decent. I try to play it out most of the time. Some of the most fun games I have had is where I am down 7-0 but go on a small run and make it sweaty. If its pretty obvious I am way overmatch there is usually no reason for me to continue.

No clue man, I’m not a nerd. Feel free to look at the game log or whatever and make that determination.

I don't remember saying skills does not matter. But I also know I've gotten lucky with some non-PCI homers/hits when I've made a comeback. But sometimes RNG does let you win. If you've played long enough on this game, you would know that.

I guess I should have asked was if you had any non-PCI homers/hits that led to a rally/lead? I know I've gotten them before when I've been down 4-5 runs.

I don’t know about that… my last game was down 3-1 and couldn’t hit anything. Switched to timing which is the most RNG of RNG and hit a 3 run homerun on a contact swing. Ended up winning 4-3, if I hadn’t switched from zone I probably lose that game.

RNG also gets you up 6-0. It literally determines everything in the game. That's why not all perfect contacts are hits.

Um wrong, there's alot of RNG. You think you can hit a bloop down the line whenever you want? What about those popups when you get a good timing and your PCI looks like it's a great placement? It's a video game. Plus in real baseball it you are off just a little the ball will go places you never expected or wanted.

RNG might not be the right explanation of chaos or randomness but it still fits.

If I am dotting pitches just out of the zone and my opponent is crushing every pitch, and I can’t touch his stuff. I’ll quit out that’s no fun. But if I make a few bad pitches and feel like I’m seeing the ball well I’ll stay in the game. Plus it helps inning count

I'm 20-0 ranked this year. One of my games I fell behind 6-1 after [censored] up and giving up a grand slam in the 4th. I chipped my way back in it and walked it off in the bottom of the 10th with a bomb to right with Yelich.

The old me would have rage quit, or played the rest of the game mad and threw my controller. When I gave up the grand slam I was just like "Lol" and kept playing.

Not a brag post, point being when I truly stopped caring I started winning a lot of games.

Gotcha…I walked the bases loaded to get to his pitcher (Halladay I think). He decided to go for the kill shot and pinch hit for him & got out…That was the turning point in the game. I had been hitting Halladay good but just nothing was dropping or leaving the park. Once Doc was out he brought in a meta relievers you see every game & I just started crushing everything & now everything was dropping & going out. That’s pretty much how it went down.
