Waste of money

There is no reason to ever consider playing this garbage heap online unless u have a next generation console. The disadvantage with anything less makes hitting and even pitching to a degree impossible. I didn't buy this trash so scrubs who have a smooth game play actually think they r good when they blow. The overall game play is just terrible

When online is getting frustrating, I always enjoy franchise. Drafting a team and playing is fun. A lot more of a chill time than the stress of competitive play and you get more practice.

Thank god this guys here with his tips. Last gen is awful I played on it the last two years until 3 weeks ago, got the new Xbox and I was mindblown how much of a difference it was, the game is impossible on old consoles and shouldn’t be played. I couldn’t believe I played that way the last two years, my batting average doubled instantly when I got new console.

This is pure nonsense. I had Xbox One and was hitting below .200 and about to give up on the game. Instead I got a Series X and am now a .300 hitter and winning half or better of my H2H games. It is borderline impossible to hit on old gen.

I have an old gen and suck H2H. Doesn’t current gen run at 120 fps and old gen 60 fps? That’s makes a huge difference in seeing the ball coming. Also I play on a TV and supposedly people who play on a monitor have an advantage cause of response time.

The difference in seeing pitches on 120hz and old gen is like trying to hit beach balls vs golf balls.

I think as more and more people play and they have the same metta really since 19, it gets harder and harder, I used to play a lot of online games where I could throw nothing but a change up under the strike zone and no hit half the players I played, now even in the 400-600s people know what they’re doing.

Solution is don't play new games on old obsolete consoles. It's been 2 years now... it's only going to get worse for old gen users. If you are going to keep using an old console... probably should play something that isn't all based on timing so your not at such a disadvantage. To come on here and bash people that beat you because they aren't using old consoles makes you sound silly. What do you expect SDS to do... not allow the new consoles to run at their full potential so little Billy and his 8 year old console can keep up???

100% truth. I was a 180 hitter and nothing ever made sense as to how I couldn’t hit the ball, got a new console and easily hit over 300 instantly I wish I knew last year and saves myself from wasting time even trying on old consoles

Just wait until they stop making games for the PS4. Then you'll have to get a PS5 to play this game.

Yeah I played 21 with gamepass on Xbox One S and it was barely playable ended up buying it for PS4 because the last gen Xbox version was so bad

Depends on the type of TV and what settings you have because the size of the screen and amount of colors have a huge factor on refresh rate.

The game was advertised and sold as 60hz not 120hz. Anyone on old gen has a legit complaint but if you really need to feel superior go right ahead. Simple math says it’s 2x better which isn’t minimal, it’s multiple.
