Graphics have been cut and paste for 13 years now. Same game year in and year out.
Also wanted to tag this comment in particular, the reason graphics haven't improved is because they're still really good. SDS hasn't committed to the jump in generation yet, but expect it in 2023, will probably be the first time we see true new gen visuals.

Thanks…appreciate the help. Did that before I posted. Searched there and Twitter. Saw nothing other than “reports”, “possible”, “release of Tap Sports”. The way people were talking, it sounded like EA had released something and was just asking for a touch of help.

Wow..... the frame rates are great in MLBTS. Playing at the stadium, Field of Dreams recorded three epileptic deaths so far this year and SDS is involved in a class action lawsuit.

Not sure that EA will make a better game or not, but having competition is definitely a good thing for the players either way. I can see EA putting a lot of effort into this because they will want to try to steal some of the fan base from The Show. I would say I have no reason to leave The Show if it weren't for the terrible online experience... EA uses really good servers and Madden runs smooth as silk for me while this game is a lag fest with dropped games way too often. I would think if EA gets MLB rights as well... SDS has no choice but to invest in better servers or that could be a huge disadvantage for them going up against EA.

Madden is a great game. The franchise is so strong with supporters. They have been in the game for how long....

I hope this was sarcasm. Madden is a great game? I have played every version of Madden since day 1, they last 2 or 3 years the game has gotten progressively worse to the point where it's practically unplayable now. This was the first time in its history I didn't own it day 1, I waited until it was free on EA Play. I barely played it this year at all.
So strong with Supporters? Most people trash this game on both the main community forums worse than they trash SDS here.
The big difference is EA has exclusive NFL rights and has no reason to improve the game every year. They put 100% of their effort into sucking money out of us. I think I disagree with people trashing Madden on forums worse than here though if that's what you meant... the negativity here is worse imo... you could even go to both forums right now and compare, but I feel like the negativity here is worse. The only real complaint I have about the Show is how bad the servers are and how tough it is to enjoy online games consistently. I have zero issues online in MUT and I play that more online than this by a lot. It's good for any of us to have SDS and EA competing for our revenue though... makes them both have to put the effort in to keep their fan base from switching over. Hopefully this means SDS does better with the servers next year. I wish SDS could get NFL rights now and force EA to try harder with Madden going forward.

SDS would be a horrible company to produce a football game. I wouldn't let them produce Farmville 2.
That is how bad they are as a video game production company.

I agree that the competition will be good for the game. My only point is that EA is trash too, so don't expect anything great. While I enjoyed last years Show a bit more, I still enjoy this years game as well. I can't say that about the last few Maddens. Best case for me is that this forces SDS to step up their game.

I wouldn't think twice about ditching the SDS brand. The only thing they have going for them is the game looks better than it plays.

Can you please share the article you found this in? I can only find references to the Aug 21 articles where everything was very vague.

EA is a far more superior and well structured and a better producing company as SDS is, in the past, now, and ever will be.
