It’s a program of free packs, stubs, and xp. Free, and you’re still whining about it.

I didn’t have any of the Always Intense cards coming into today. I did the moments and the showdown to get one and took a pitcher as it will be the quickest way to get it done. If I get inpatient, I’ll rent another pitcher or two.

You nailed it here; the problem I have is that you kind of have to pick a pitcher, while I’d like to take a hitter here; but if you want to get it done without playing the CPU on rookie, you have to use your strategy.

And since it’s not a set, you’re not completing collections either. Apart from the XP, I feel like there’s no end game. It’s either clunky or weird depending on how you look at it.

I feel like I already had 2-3 packs from another program or something; more of a leg up.

I had all but a few of these cards before the program dropped, so completing the program will not be an issue for me, but these type of programs are perplexing the heck out of me this year.

“You can earn these cards in this program, but you have to use those cards to earn the same cards. Unless you want to spend the next three weeks on the program, you probably want to go ahead and buy the cards you are going to earn in the program.” Maybe I am complaining here about something that doesn’t impact me, but the programs this year are just weird.

You’re also given multiple of these packs for free before the program goes live through multiple reward paths. Giving you the cards you need to grind for free. If you sold them for stubs, that’s on you.

    this right here.

Pretty sure we've had the opportunity to earn two or three of these packs the past couple weeks? Wasn't there one just in the recent event?

While not a scam, I am not sure how some of you actually believe something in this game is free. There is nothing free in this game.

The program is just boring. Programs based on packs are stupid. Very unimaginative. Content this year -- the entire DD experience -- has been underwhelming at best.

That being said, the moments are beyond easy, the pxp grind is cake as long as you use AI pitchers, and you get lots of free packs. I pulled Trout for the second time in a BIAG pack, and was shocked and dismayed that the lights weren't teal. Thought I had gotten FotF Trout for a second...

Just buy a pitcher he's 13k. Play 4 9 inning games against the cpu and you'll have enough for both packs you might be able to do it in 3.

I bought Leiter. Needed him. He's my first Prime all year, lol.
Being a Mets card made it a no brainer, as well.

When the packs came out all the base cards were quick sell and I bought them for collections. You should have done the same.
