I havent done it yet but its just 4 Bosses. Glavine, Leiter, Brad Hand and Brian Wilson. If the last few Showdowns are any indication, it shouldnt be too hard. Score a run with a man on 3rd, score 2 runs with a man on 1st etc.
I absolutely despise Showdowns but ive managed to do every one this year by the 2nd attempt.

How many points for the AI packs?
70 for the first, 80 for the second. So if you want the 2nd, you have to do the showdown.

I have to do Showdown either way. I don't have any of the AI cards and I'm not buying any just to get the base round in the free packs.

Not sure what the mind set at SDS is this year but I'm not a fan of the whole you don't get points if you don't buy certain players or get lucky with packs. I guess you could wait and get Betts, Wilson etc. when they get down to 10/15k but call me crazy when a program comes out i don't want to have to wait if I don't have stubs.

Im thinking the way to go with this one is do enough to get the first pack, grab a pitcher (Glavine or Leiter) and do the slow grind for 2000pxp. You can get around 600 by doing the CG SHO with 16+ Ks on rookie. Maybe grab a cheap bat to plug into the lineup and work on some Team Build pxp missions at the same time.
Also, i just did the showdown. Took about 20 minutes, knocked it out first attempt.

Took me about 15 minutes to finish it. Some of it bosses like Glavine took one at bat throwing a sweeping curve directly down the middle. Wilson got a little scary when I grounded into a double play.
