A game has never made me this angry

Sds why the heck is the Jim Rice challenge for 2XP so darn hard? Ive smashed the ball numerous times to the wall just to keep being called out at 2nd base. Things like this makes your game horrible. Whats the catch? Why is it so hard? Do you get a mega diamond or something? Am i missing something? What is going on with this [censored]? [censored]!

Switch to directional, hold up on the left stick, swing with power. Just do this on every moment that requires HRs or XBHs. Trust me. Directional, hold up stick the whole time, use power swing.

That moment was brutal, if Kikuchi throws a strike (a big if) it's hit to the wall and just dies like theres a force field.
Just keep at it you will get it, took me 35 attempts and a lot of anger but i smashed 2 hrs over the monster.

I feel you. Sucks. But I did it first two at bats, literally.
Totally random because SDS decided that this year cpu pitchers on rookie difficulty should throw garbage 75% of the time and then also dot.
And what's with the "want a cookie" line? Is this an MLBTS thing? Such a stupid line...

Haha yup it's completely random this year, you either get a cpu pitcher that can throw strikes or one that desides they are going to hit you 5 times in a row.
I'm personally not sure where the saying came from because personaly it really makes no difference if someone can beat the moment on their first turn or their 35th, only diffrence is time spent on it.

Jim Rice is absolutely terrible. Is this a POTM moment? If it is, I somehow must have completed it without much trouble. If it’s not, then it’s not worth the 1000 XP or whatever they give for moments.
No moment can ever be worse than the 2 XBH + 1 SB in the Jackie program in 20. Good lord. Worst designed moment ever.

The problem i had hitting it off the monster( not just Rice but anyone) is they jog to 1st like its a homer. I always hold down the L1 to get them moving just in case it isnt.( happens other stadiums too).
or if there are other runners i dont want to advance in case its caught, ill select the batter and select 2nd base. -

Yep, that was the only one that gave me problems, the cpu kept putting the ball in play
