Glitch to Fix, Please

If I use my created player to pinch hit for the pitcher, he shouldn't have to pitch the next inning.
Baseball 101: Even if said pinch hitter is a pitcher (my CP is a SS), it doesn't require him to pitch.This was an issue last year.
Probably will be in '23 as well.I can ask, though.

No. There's nothing you can do.
Had two relievers ready to go. It just will not allow you to sub out. -

This happened to me a few times in Mini-Seasons!!! It was scary, but I beared down each time.
I did ok, because I'm good at pitching, but one time i had to escape 1st & 3rd and no out scenario. My Curve was the X-factor.
This must he fixed though. It happened a lot when I pinch-hit with 88 Ohtani early in the year. I got out of those pickles because he is a pitcher. It happened a few times in Mini-Seasons, and his stamina was looooow from a start. -
So a work around this issue is to actually schedule one of your relievers to start the next inning. It'll ask you if you still want them to go into the game and you say yes obviously. I did that to fix the Ohtani issue described above.
