Has Doc Gooden or Darryl Strawberry ever been in The Show?

I would love to use Doc with that fastball and Darryl had one of the sweetest swings ever. It's a shame if they aren't allowed in this video game due to past indiscretions.

SDS had rights to a guy who pitched on LSD, not sure if it's the coke or the $$ keeping them out. I did see Strawberry in the audio database, he wasn't in there on 20.

Not sure LSD is all the bad but they had Lenny Dykstra. Doc and Strawberry are players the majority of DD players would want. I never saw Keith in RS games.

I love Keith, best fielding 1B I ever saw, one of the best hitting approaches I ever saw, and I've been watching , playing, and coaching baseball for 45 years. But he was no saint and his addiction, carousing, and temper was widely known back in those days. There have been illegal drug users, men who have committed domestic violence, Aroldis is in the game. Pudge has been in the game , I could go on and one with guys who committed the same offenses as Doc and Darryl. And don't think for a second that Keith just had "recreational" use of drugs/amphetamines. There are things I cannot speak of but people know......Just saying there are the same or worse offenses so it may be more than just those things keeping these 2 guys from showing up in MLB The Show

Some people who are younger may not know....Keith had a lot of addiction problems , he was as big a partier as anyone, as a matter of fact that entire Mets team with the exception of Kid (Carter) were the same way. But even in St Louis Keith had those issues. Seems he's really cleaned up his act now and I am happy for him. His knowledge of the game is as good as anyone's.

It sucks that out of the lot of them Carter went first. I believe Darryl turned his life around quite a bit as well. It's probably a licensing issue. I would love to have John Kruk, Julio, Franco and Strawberry. I love those batting stances. Would also like Mitch Williams and Darren Daulton.

Unfortunately, SDS never comes out and says that they are black balling these players for whatever reason. So we don't know if it's really that or cost.

I sure as hell would love to see Doc and Darryl in the game! I have to make them every year!? Was ecstatic to se Keith H (mets uniform) in 21. Before that he was on the cardinals! Doc and Darryl in that game would introduce the younger generation to the Flushing Dynamic Duo! You mentioned Pudge and Aroldis; also par for the course is Babe Ruth Mackey Mantle and Ty Cob! Also since we're talking exclusives what happened to Derek Jeter and Joe Dimaggio? I don't understand the show at all!

Listening to your eloquence they'll never put them in the game. Darryl has cleaned his life up. Doc I haven't heard any latest on him but at least put Darryl in the game!

Bottom line is that SDS has not paid Doc or Straw for their rights to be used in tbe game. I'm pretty sure Doc & Straw would negotiate giving rights to SDS. But it is SDS that are not pursuing those rights with them. SDS feels the tab is not worth it. They just do not want to over pay for certain players with a bad rep because at end of the day all SDS is concerned about is profits. SDS feels that adding them 2 into the game at the cost that comes for their rights, that it is not worth it.
