Yes every year MLBTS releases Future Star Series Cards. However IMO they really overkilled it with too many cards that has juiced attributes making them better than most real life career established players. I get the fantasy aspect of "what if" these players will be that good within their career & I get the fantasy aspect of playing with the players you personally know of because they are in the farm system of your favorite team. But this is really taking too much away from Cards of players that legitimately paid their dues & rightfully earned their acclaim. I'm staring to see many players filling most of their line-ups with Future Stars within Events. It's annoying having someone use a card of someone I never even heard of & even less seen to go yard on me with a moonshot. If it was Trout, Acuna, Delgado or Cruz going yard on me with a moonshot, then that is acceptable & believable because it is Trout, Acuna, Delgado or Cruz that hit that moonshot. But to see someone I never even heard of before who may mostly not amount to anything in the MLB because he either could'nt cut it as a big leaguer or was always becoming injured. This is making a comic book mockery of the game itself & to players who honestly have had a great productive career.
I know nothing about you yet I'm suppose to take your opinion on on why this game is ruined on people using players you know nothing about....checks out

It's a video game. Relax and try to have fun.

Prior years i might have agreed, but this year:
they arent overpowered like before
from the moments text a lot of these guys were 1st round draft picks
and i recognize quite a few names from last years AFL.(over 70% of the guys that performed there went on to have great mlb careers)
at the very least they are picking top guys to represent this year -
Also, I just noticed this and again not trying to nitpick but if the subject of your sentence is plural (FS CardS) is plural; then the verb (is) should be plural (are).
I myself have made many grammatical mistakes; so I'm not judging you. Just stating it makes for a better read if it is grammatically correct.

honestly I thought they did a good job with it, its much better this year than years previous with ed cabrera being OP. the year before was more hitting based but still op. this year its really not like any one of the cards is a must besides maybe dodgers guy idk his name or brash. the hitters are all high contact low power for the most part and interchangable without being amazing

I think SDS juices them up based on their potential ratings from what scouts say. I can understand that aspect for "future stars". Or else they'll be just as good as a rookie card in this game. I wonder what Harper, Kris Bryant, Chipper Jones, Josh Hamilton, etc. card would have looked like.
On a side note, I think SDS needs to make a Kerry Woods 20K game milestone card. One of the best pitching performances ever.

It's a fantasy program. Let's not overthink it. Over half the cards are pretty much the same players -- CF or SS with very similar attributes.
Get the ones you like and ignore the rest.

There are so many viable cards to put in a lineup at this point that the future stars don't ruin anything. I've always enjoyed the future stars because I learn more about players coming through the various systems.
