Take your time - Savor It!

So, I am an avid fan/hater of The Show. At times, it plays great. I love baseball, and this truly is a top notch game.
But as much as I wanted to buy it, I skipped The Show 22 because clearly, SDS is just trying to keep the moneytrain rolling. There really is'nt any new innovation to warrant the move from '21 to '22.
And you know what I've noticed....I enjoy the game wayy more now that I'm not rushing through each inning, playing against people in ranked, trying to keep up. I'm enjoying playing The Show 21 now to the point of JUST playing the show the past 2 weeks now..This game just has way too short of a lifespan and shaky game coding behind the scenes, for me to be able to enjoy grinding like the way SDS expects us to.
All in all, I hope sports games find a different model to release their games. Maybe free to play with "battle pass" seasons, or multi year releases, or something!

I'm not paying for the game. Hence the game is free to play.
I have Xbox Live Ultimate. I used to pay for Xbox Live + GamePass on a year bases plan for 60. Once I got Ultimate I wouldn't get charged monthly until my current yearly pay completed. So I'm paying zero a month currently until then.
Either way I can understand what you are saying.
Ultimate is a great value honestly . -
I'm a xbox guy and I only got 21 late last year on black friday. I loved having a "real" baseball game again even though Super Mega is fun it isn't the same. I never thought id find a baseball game I liked better than MVP 2005 on my old PS2 but Show 21 is just fantastic. Fantastic to the point that I pre ordered and got 22 early and haven't touched it yet at all.
Since I got 21 so late (and because I suck pretty bad at it) I still have a lot to do on 21 before I want to start 22. I'll never be able to be competitive online so yeah I agree the more laid back pace on 21 now that all the heavy hitters are on 22 is pretty cool. I mean I still am trash online but I dont feel lile I need to try to keep up with anyone and I'm really enjoying this game.

Just play for fun and try not to spend money lol. I know it's hard.

You're right - I fronted $180 to get gamepass for $5 a month for 3 years. I've pretty much earned it all back too in rewards and got myself a "free" series S with those rewards that I use when traveling.
All that said, if I wasn't on vacation when early access was happening, I would have coughed up the $100 to play sooner

You're right - I fronted $180 to get gamepass for $5 a month for 3 years. I've pretty much earned it all back too in rewards and got myself a "free" series S with those rewards that I use when traveling.
All that said, if I wasn't on vacation when early access was happening, I would have coughed up the $100 to play sooner
How did you get it for $5 a month for 3 years? I got the $5 a month for 3 months than it’s $15 a month after that.

It's the conversion trick that's all over YouTube and reddit. You cannot be a gpu member, stack 3 years of gold, then buy 1 month of gpu for $1 to convert it all. There's an imperative autobill setting in there too
