I went 3-0 once... seriously though, I'm with you. Some of these guys playing are incredible how good they can hit and play. I'm really good at Madden and usually play H2H on the highest level every year, but I can't even touch a winning record in h2h with this game.

Yesh madden is a joke. Spam the same 3 plays over and over again with a qb rollout. Madden is more about finding ways to exploit EAs terrible programming than it is trying to beat your opponent. This game requires user skill. I wish madden wasn't horrible.

I ran 20+ unique plays per game and off meta all year. I challenge anybody who thinks it takes no skill in Madden to learn the top 3 you tube plays and go spam them on All-pro or higher in Madden H2H and see how far that gets you. This game is user skill too, my biggest weakness in this game is I can't figure out how to fix the fact that online on All-Star is harder to hit than hof offline. In 75% of my online games the fastball comes so fast... I have to guess and start swinging as soon as the ball is released or it's late. There is nothing wrong with my internet and can hit fastballs offline with ease. If Madden was as broken as this game... that community would riot. This game could be great if it didn't have so many little bugs and server issues.

I went 12-0 last year and I’m not very good at all, so I can attest that it can be done with enough luck.

Bottom-line anyone that goes 12-0 repeatedly are just that darn good to begin with. These are players who make it to WS within ranked very quickly & easily & who also fly thru Events just as easily & quickly. They just have a skill to hit with any card because their swing timing & PCI placement is always on point. They can pitch well with any card because they are skilled with choosing which pitch to throw & hitting their target with the right pitch at the right location at the right time to enduce others to strike out or hit into easy non threatening outs. There is no magic or secret formula or special tactic used. They are just players who are more advanced & skilled then most.

That was a salary cap game tournament where his strategy was to use all his cap points to build a run only squad and it was unstoppable. They dont do salary cap tournaments anymore because of it. If you think that one of the top Madden players in the world doesn't have skill... there's no point in arguing with you. If it takes no skill the same handful of players wouldn't be there in the end of every tournament every year. We should play a game and stream it and then you can show me how skill means nothing in Madden. If you spam 3 plays against me... I 100% guarantee you will lose.

Every game is the same, call crossing plays, audible the strong side tight end to bump and go up the seam, audible the half back to bump and go on a slant, Audible slide block; snap the ball, run out of the pocket, wait for your crossing routes. Then just throw it to which ever receiver the ai spazzed on and left open, if the user is great at coverage run out of bounds with your QB for a 5 yard gain. Throw in a weak side run every now and then with the occasional play action quick cross all from the same formation. Rinse and repeat.
And perhaps the top players don't do this, but 80% of the middle guys do. It gets old. Haven't bought the game in a couple years.

It's all stuff that can be shutdown with adjustments. The players that run the same plays over and over are extremely boring to match up with, but they usually quit once they see you can shut their only plays down. The game gets exploited for sure.... but so does every online game once some streamers get a hold of it and try to sell "the best play in the game" to get clicks on their channel. The punter QB thing a couple years ago was ridiculous, but they were stupid for running a salary cap mode tournament and not expect people to exploit it. The guy that did that "joke" is a top player every year, but that year he used all his salary points to basically build an unstoppable team to run every play and it worked because he was good enough that nobody with their regular cap defense could stop it. It's still a fun game to me, but not like it used to be... used to be the only game I played straight through every year, but now I only play Madden half the year and play this game the other half. I'm terrible at hitting online, but still enjoy this game as much as Madden... I think mainly play both because I love football and baseball... but think both could be much better.

Same, madden was once my favorite game. Now i don't buy it. I play this game till about September then I play rpgs or fps games. This year I'll play the Show until elden ring goes on sale. I'm also a huge Apex fan.

As someone who got to no life both madden and the show during my freshman year of college they both take alot of skill but they require way too much time invested to actually be good. Madden was much more frustrating to play because some offensive schemes were so unstoppable in madden 21. Most games just came down to who got the luckier animations. I like to think I was pretty good since I was placing top 10 in weekend league every week and beating some notable top players. In the show I also no lifed it and got really good and went 2-0 vs mcgunski and went 12-0 in BR for the first time. I also completed every collection and made world series every single season and hit 1000 rating here and there. Madden was the much more rage inducing experience I would say though. Working a 9-5 while also having school now reminds me to just have fun in the small amount of time I get to play.
