Ohtani thoughts

So, I’m sure others have noticed, but there’s so much weird stuff with Ohtani. First, as I understand it, you can’t really use him elsewhere (or in DD too) as a two-way player, which was part of what they hyped before release, if I recall.
Also, he had pitching inside edge every day, even if he’s not pitching (which tends to make him more valuable since it’s usually ratings increase).
Also, when you have his LS in conquest but not starting, it shows him with the bench bats as an OF. I’ve never tried to switch him into the OF, but I assume it works out fine. BUT, if you try this online, (I noticed in the event) that he doesn’t show up listed on your bench as an OF like he does in conquest.

I pulled him the other day and kept him for the LS collection. Put him in my line up and he sucks for me as a pitcher. I okay mainly mini seasons so I don’t about my pitcher being a good hitter and as a pitcher his not that good to me.

It's pathetic that SDS made him their coverboy but completely screwed the pooch on being able to use him as a 2-way player in the game.
Even in franchise, where you should be able to manipulate things to your heart's content, it's an absolute mess.

You do have to get used to his windup a bit. It takes a little while, I think. It’s easy to mistime him (at least on analog that I use)

It’s downright hilarious how he shows up as an OF on your bench in conquest (if you didn’t start him at pitcher) but doesn’t show up that way in events. (Not sure about ranked or BR, haven’t looked)
