How long will Randy Johnson be the best pitcher in the game?

He doesn't have to be the best pitcher, just top 5. And he will be for a very long time. Also don't forget that all of the rewards from the live series, whether you use them or not, will help towards the big collections.
Also, I love Clemente but that's personal preference.

He's the only 99 overall pitcher in the game. They could drop another 99 tomorrow and Johnson will still be top 2. And like the other guy said, the rewards from LS arent all that great but they serve a bigger purpose. We'll find out what that purpose is on Friday. As of now, the only rewards i dont have are Gwynn (just need Tatis), Clemente and Johnson.
Also, I love Sizemore but that's personal preference.

When the better Meta Diamond SP's are released in August. Will most likely be a Signature Card, Takashi or a Finest card that can only be won by either going 12-0 in BR or completing a big expanded colletion pending if its a Signature or a Takashi Card. I also expect the Pitcher that will be featured with either of those 3 types of Cards is Degrom whom so far this year only has a LS Card.

Wow I didn’t know they serve a bigger role than like that. I thought it was once you get them that’s it. Thanks for letting me know and your right I’m assuming he will still be the best pitcher or top 3 for a long time. Hopefully I’ll have him done in 2-3 weeks. And btw Ohtani sucks as a pitcher. I play mini seasons mainly so his batting isn’t what I look for in a pitcher.

Friday we get the first big collection of the year so it'll probably be a 99 overall. Last year we got Mariano Rivera. You basically have to collect a specific amount of cards for vouchers in the big collection so it will be something like 15 Breakouts, 15 All Stars, 15 Rookies, 5 Awards etc. Those numbers aren't exact....just giving an example.
Collect as much as you can because you'll need them eventually.

Yea for sure but I won’t finish them by Friday unless I drop $$ and I have no intention on doing that lol but I’ll get there 2-3 weeks tops. I have players I can sell to complete the LS collection way faster like Pujols, Glavine, Marte, and a couple more. I figure if I sell those guys I’ll have around 800-900k stubs. Don’t know if it’s worth selling off those guys cause Pujols and Marte ball out for me.

Nah you're better off holding on to them. If you can finish in 2-3 weeks without selling them, you should be fine. The big collection isnt a time sensitive thing

I just pulled Ohatni from ballin is a habit pack. I”m really not that far from acquiring all the big name players to complete it. I just need Acuna, Ramirez, Judge, and both of the Mets pitchers. I have 400k stubs but I’m wondering how long will Johnson be the best pitcher in the game? All the others players you get from completing the LS set don’t really look that “eye opening” to me other than Utley.
With his release and velocity, he will be a top 5 pitcher for a long time. He's hard to pick up.
I may be able to get Johnson but I would have to gut my RS team and get rid of Pujols, Delgado, Ketel and a host of others. Thomas and Clemente really don't interest me as I can't catch up to inside sinkers the majority of time with RH hitters.

Only people to surpass him will be guys who get outlier on their sinker. I don't see SDS making that same mistake as last year. So Randy will be number 1 for a long while and should be top 5 for the game cycle. His pitch mix is nice and his delivery is funky, he is a fun guy to use.
