Story is a wizard defensively. Someone mentioned Betts has assists and I know judge is good on defense.
Defense factors into their overall WAR but probably does not make a ton of difference in the POTM selections.

Not for MLB AL POTM but maybe in game because Judge already has a high diamond. But they wouldnt give it to Altuve.

I apologize for not being clear. I think 6 total bases is a bit much for a moment. Especially when it starts in the bottom of the 2nd inning.

If Story didn't have that stupid Topps Now flashback this would be incredibly obvious......Goldschmidt is the only other real option, but he's another 1st baseman.
Altuve still has the Astros problem......people would complain.
I say a 96-97 overall Story is plausible.

I don't think the "astros problem" will factor into it. People complained about rizzo, they will complain about goldy, and they will complain about story becsue his contact numbers will be in the 60s and he just got the topps now. It's either going to be altuve or a pitcher imo.

He has also struckout the 3rd most times. So low vision and discipline.

Won't be Betts solely because he 95 release
Won't be Story because he just got the 91 recentlyNot saying neither of them deserve it but that has to be taken into account as well.
