I would imagine regular forum goers would probably be better than average, but still if you respond please be as honest as possible.
Give a rough percentage for perfect/good/everything else.
I'm garbage at pinpoint.

Last year I committed to it fully. It is the only way for me now. If I concentrate I can throw perfect 25-50 percent of the time.
-
Didn't buy 21so 22 is my first year, and I got thr game at end of April. So I'm not exactly a seasoned vet. I would say I am now getting perfect 45% of the time. There are a few moments my brain goes back to analog days and screw up completely, but most of the time I am getting close. The hardest part is that release timing, every pitcher is different and sadly I feel like that's the part that will hurt the most when off. It's also rough that if you don't get everything perfect it won't be in PAR and it's impossible to predict where and how far out of PAR it will be.
My opinion is that if you want to play online with PPP, you had better be perfect nearly every time, or you are going to get rocked.
I don't play online, but I use PPP because it's fun.

I haven't taken the time to really learn how to use it. I played with it a bit but went back to meter.

I thought everyone was a master as I get my life dotted away by everyone I play.
So did I, that's why I'm a little surprised by the results...
The reason I've always liked pulse is because, even though it has a comparatively large PAR, I was 95% perfect and 5% good, so nothing was EVER wild. But now with this stupid game mode on the TV it's more 50/50 with the occasional early.

I'm surprised to hear so many people struggling with it. I asked because I'm normally a pulse pitcher and very happy with it, but I have a new setup with a much better response time and less input lag, and while I can now hit MUCH better I can no longer pulse pitch. I guess I was so used to unconsciously making up for the lag that I just can't use it like this.
So I'm all torn between trying to re-time pulse, meter, which I hate, and trying to force myself to use pinpoint even though I'm dreadful with it. I never thought pitching would ever be the harder part...
So what's the new setup that improved your hitting?

I’m not terrible on Xbox much better on Ps5. So I use meter online and PPP offline

I am not good with PPP but am getting better. I just started a couple weeks ago. Long time meter user that was tired of missing by a hair and watching my pitch go right down the middle. With PPP I can draw clown faces and the pitch still goes in the area I wanted it.
