Yeah why did the change his delivery? I know its a long delivery but that's how he pitched mostly. Its one of the reasons why I found him so useable last year. They've completely nerfed him even his 99 will probably be unusable.

I am a little surprised they use to excel at getting these little details right I wonder why the animation quality has declined so much in just a few years

It’s a really cheap move in SDS’s part. They put a generic windup on a pile of stats and promote it as valuable content. Meanwhile, we all know from experience that they have the capability to make these players perform as a reflection of the card they represent.
I believe the technical term applicable here is “Bait and Switch.”
