You mostly play offline modes though. Offline DD and Online DD are two different experiences.

No, no I don't lol

It takes a human .03 seconds to blink. It also only takes .03 second for a back door slider to become a right down the middle meatball.

My gripe is there isn’t consistency and that it defies the laws of physics. If I release a fastball late then it should be lower where I initially intended. Release early, and ball should land above the intended spot. There’s no consistency, and it seems to always go in the opponents favor for “balancing” cause you’re slappin em. Ima post a couple quick pics just for an example in a moment

https://imgur.com/a/Q8kcnuMHere’s two from the last 30 minutes of playing. These two are far from the most egregious examples I could share. I can dig through the archives of my ps5 if anyone wants some more compelling evidence.

Here’s another example. Let’s ignore the fact that it’s a perfect and grasp at straws.
0.01 second early, ok maybe expect it a bit higher..
1 degree to the left, because if I’m gonna miss I’d rather it be more toward being outside the zone..So where’s it end up?
-
Now here’s another one where it goes where you would expect with it being 0.01s early and 1 degree to the right. So this is an accurate reflection of what should happen but take note that it’s benefitting the opponent here. Makes one think.

I understand PAR. Someone translate please.
I thought the OP posted on the wrong game forums. Thought OP was talking Golf

Those screenshots all show it working as intended. Seems you don’t understand the mechanic.
-
The screenshots you shared seem to work exactly like intended

This is the conclusion I have come to with all of these posts. Most people claim they know what it is but really don't understand the PAR and how it works.
When I pitch, I aim my PAR, not the ball @Zalot____PSN. If you have half the PAR outside the zone its basically a 50/50 shot at being a strike.

This exactly. The baseballs ended up in the intended PAR region everytime despite the few seconds and degrees off

Perfect release doesn’t even stay inside the PAR. Might as well just tell us they went back to 20’s pitching engine.
Yep, I’m pretty sure you don’t have any clue what an engine is. The game doesn’t operate separate engines for pitching or hitting. An engine is simply the framework with which the game is built and operates in. The game doesn’t operate multiple engines.

You can't say a perfect pitch should go in the PAR and have times where it doesn't. There are quite a few times where perfect pitches do not go inside the PAR. Noticed a lot of inside sliders doing this. One's that should be a foot inside off the plate finding the edge of the zone.

Show me proof the same way Zalot did. I have yet to see any actual proof of this.

They just have to touch the par, right?

I think 50% of the ball has to remain inside the PAR.

I would delete those screenshots. They were on the edge of your par. You should show ones that are missing the spot by 8 inches. Not 2.
