No. Wagner and Halladay missed the boat by about 5 years. Other players that have gotten cards in recent years are Utley, Rollins, Lee, Oswalt, Dan Pleasac, Shawn Green, Jayson Werth, AJ Burnett, Troy Glaus, Shane Victorino, Cole Hamels, JA Happ, etc.

The biggest clue was at the start of the year, when they said, only 1 boss that everybody will want. Halladay has been one of the most requested in recent years, probably the most for SPs not named Randy Johnson.

I’m thinking Roy too. Sure hope so. I remember using him in a Phillies franchise back in the day. His delivery, pitch mix, and control is so fun.

The only players I found that played with both Howard and Delgado are Jeff Conine, Juan Pierre, Jayson Werth and.....Roy Halliday. So, unless Howard and Delgado are red herrings, and everyone has deciphered all of the clues correctly, then the only logical answer is Halliday

I was so upset to learn that the Doc died in an airplane crash after he retired. I didn't look him up for like a decade and read it all on Google. So sad.

I never get sentimental over celebrities I never met but I will admit that his death did hurt a bit, mainly due to his daughter
