Does SDS does Stubs sales and if so when does it usually come like during All-Star Game weekend or holidays?
-
I've heard the first one is typically Memorial Day weekend.....

Even with a Stub Sale, I can not see why many will buy stubs with real money. If you goal is to buy enough stubs to buy LS Trout, it will take (2) 150K Stub Bundle Packs at $50 each (after discount) and (1) 67.5K Stub Bundle Pack at $30 (after discount) and (1) 11K Stub Bundle Pack at $8 (after discount). That's a total of $138 spent to get enough stubs to buy Trout. IMO I just can not see myself or others spending more money passed the base game or at most the Deluxe game which gives you early access & a head start with a couple of Diamonds, Several Packs to open & a decent amount of Stubs to buy some Gear for you CAP.

Let's not forget for any newbies around here that stub sales inflate the market big time, basically negating the sale price. As crazy as it sounds you're better off buying packs with sale stubs you buy unless you're willing to sit on them until the market normalizes again.
You will overpay big time on the marketplace plain and simple.

This is great advice. Plus the fact they could potentially drop the first big collection at the same time. Prices will be insanely high.

You do know with a stub sale Trout will probably go up to 450-500K; so you would need more than what you stated.
Also, now when they do the sale it's only around 30-40% off the higher ones. So a 159K bundle which is normally $99.99 would be around $69.99.

There are usually 3 stub sales a year. They aren’t done at the exact same calendar day either, They mix them up. When there is a sale the price of everything skyrockets. The smart play is to buy the stubs when on sale & then sit on them for 2-3 weeks until the market returns to normal.

Prices may get stupid crazy with them adding Nintendo this year. They probably will stay higher longer because they didn’t drop stub sales for both consoles at the same time last year. Will be interesting

Unless they do them back-to-back-to-back.

Then how do I get stubs quickly

Working the market, flipping stubs works but takes patience

Buying a lot of packs is not worth it. Between all the free cards and flipping a few you should get what you want. Wait for Trout to drop in price. I think it will at some point.
