Big Dog Program - Showdown?

Sandoval was key to me completing it

Am I correct in my calculation that you need to complete the Showdown to have enough pts to complete the program?
I despise those....so hopefully I'm missing something....
Don't let the Title or past Showdowns fool you. If you played last year this is exactly like the RIB showdown or the Max Scherzer one. It's nothing like the ones they do for TA or innings/featured programs. Last year when the Scherzer one came out, a bunch of inexperienced players (I was one of them) freaked out. An hour later we were mostly posting on here laughing about how easy it was.

Ok, that's good to hear.
Year 1 of Showdowns was cool. After that, just pain, lol -
Its pretty much score 1 run with the bases loaded within 6 outs, score 1 run with 8 outs, score 2 runs with 10 outs and score 2 runs with 12 outs.
Franco hangs breaking balls over the plate 80% of the time. Just be patient.

My first attempt, I failed. The second attempt, I breezed right through. MVP was no doubt Oneil Cruz.
It's more like Scherzer's Showdown or the Run It Back Showdown from last year, than the pain Showdowns. And I suck at Showdown. Was a hell of a lot easier than that 12 total bases against Spencer "Greatest Pitcher Ever" Turnbull and the Tigers outfield of apparently Willie Mays, Andruw Jones, and Griffey.

Easiest showdown ever. I usually suck at them and skip them. 3 of the 4 games I had walkoff bombs. Just work the count and eventually they groove one right down the middle

My MVP, as always is Nick Castellanos. Every time I have him in a lineup he rakes

I agree this is easy but many do not like these and making the player pay stubs to play any segment of a program is lame.

It was painless. 3 of the 4 rounds are LHP, just take cards that rake against LHP
It’s actually random, as are settings (outs and runners on base or not) except for Franco. But your tip stands though, take RHs/good splits vs LH; they force you a couple of LH but Dunn or Yelich are both good, especially on Rookie and Veteran.

I beat it first try. I did get lucky on the Grove moment. Had a runner on with one out left. I perfect perfect to the RF who looked like he was going to coast right under it. It ended up right off his glove.

You aren't paying unless you lose
