How is that POTM Andre Dawson?
-
I thought his swing looked a little awkward, but when he connects, the ball flies.
It's a good card so far. -
IMO his swing is a bit too slow and his stance has him very close to the plate. I find it challeging trying to turn on stuff inside, epecially on 2 strikes & the pitch inside is too close to take & risk be caight looking on a pitch just barely hitting the black.

Not good

My worst high diamond so far. I totally dislike him

See, I'm glad you included that note about his stance being close to the plate -- which, if it hasn't changed since his previous The Show appearances -- I remember being real streaky with because of that. And for whatever reason, I can't hit nothing with guys like Jose Abreu, Byron Buxton, and Eric Davis in this year's game.
I'll probably still go for him and likely regret it later. My current RF is Mookie Betts and despite the fact that he's been a top-3 producer at the plate for me, I think it's time I upgraded.

im using him now to do this stupid rizzo monthly card thing. he is terrible for me. always been terrible. his swing is the kind i do not like.
-
Somewhere between meh and a'ight.
Better options out there for sure. But give him a spin. I wouldn't have bothered doing missions for him if Rizzo wasn't behind him. Rizzo rips.

Love his swing. Feels a lot like the 17 version I think it was. Has great oppo power on balls pitches to that side of the plate.
It was a race between him and France who could get to 500 pxp first for me to get Rizzo. France had a 140 point head start and lost.

With most of these No-Sell rewards cards earned (including Dawson & Rizzo) are not very productive for most to use. Only a small group of players will do very well with these cards, mostly because they play that well that they can play well with literally any card they use. However with these No-Sell rewards cards it's more about getting them for the sake of collections which will expand. So the most No-Sell cards you could earn towards these collections helps a great deal with preventing you to buy rewards cards too hard for you to earn on your own from BR, Events & Ranked.

It does always seem like expensive cards play better than their similar free counterparts.
