buying a single machado earlier in the week at like 10-14k is already a pretty good steal. I wish I went bigger!

Pretty obvious lots of folks still don't understand the new values for cards (i.e. 80=400, 81=600, 82=900 etc.). Either that or they don't know/understand that cards rarely increase 5 plus overall points in one roster update.
-
Would love a stub sale here soon so I can sell off some of these cards I’ve been holding

Those are Quick Sell price sells. However a week after the update, all of those upgraded cards go up in value within the market. Their Buy Now & Sell Now prices increases. So the point is to wait a week or two to sell them in the Market to maximize the most stubs you can from them.. Not Quick Sell them.
However even the Quick Sale can work in your favor pending the price you bought the card at .... a 84 Gold bought for 1500 that goes to a 85 Diamond will give a Quick Sell Value if 3000. Therfore you already doubled your investment. It knowing which cards to invest in & which not to, even though they most likely be upgrade for sure, however their current market prices exceeds what tbe Quick Sell Value is if upgraded. For example. Wanda Franco is a 84 Gold that surely will go Diamond tomorrow to atleast a 85. So lets say he goes to 85. Right now at this very moment his Sell Now Price is 3005. But the Quick Sell for ab 85 Diamond is 3000. Therefore Franco will NOT be a Quick Sell option. You would need to wait out the market for a week or 2 for his prices to go up & matching most other 85 Diamond cards.

I invest in players that consistantly play well day 2 day. Then go through collection at end of year after final update and watch stubs roll in. All the bronzes and silvers get exchanged into Golds!!! And then buy all cards needed for collections at end of year. Then enjoy all the "New to me" cards the whole off season.

Unless he stays at an 85. Most people don't pay that much over QS value

Any of my picks that stay at same OVR or actually goes down. I immediatly within that 1st hour after the Roster update I start selling them back on the market via listing tbem in Buy Now to get most I can for them while I still can before the market changes with its prices for that card. Most times doing this I break even or may lose 25 to 100 (200 max) stubs then what I 1st paid for them. Not a huge loss, especially when factoring all the gains I made with the picks I made that did get upgraded.

I understand all of that. For instance I.just sold a silver card for about 1200. Someone thinks this card will jump to.at least an 83 just to break even??? To each their own.

I bought some Springers. But nothing crazy. Afterall he has been slightly better than Vlad offensively, they are almost identical at this point, and plays better defense. Until he breaks.
-
Got 25 machados at 17k and 5 burnes at 20k
-
I think Machado gets to a 91. At least 55K. I think Burnes gets to 90. And with Hader there as well he should be in the mid to high 40's. Just speculating . I hope Wander goes to 86 or 87. And Yordan goes to 85. And Edman goes to 85. I think Springer has a slight chance but most likely will only go to 84.

I sold my kahnles (spelling?)for 1400+ a pop. I didn't think he would jump from 79 to 84 is why i did it.

Really torn on Springer. He has had some great games over the last couple weeks, but some really quiet ones as well.

Just sold everything. Maybe a 50k profit. I would normally have more invested but I just spent alot to finish the LS.
I'm just not sold on burnes price going past 32k. I think he's a card most people already have.

Whew! Through all my stubs at Springer the last second hoping for at least an 84. Since all they have to do is go up one point now to profit. If he stayed at 83 I was gonna be in trouble but if he went to 85 would have hit big.

How did machado not go to 90 OVR
