collection question for new players added to roster

I completed the collections for the giants a few weeks ago.
now i see they added billy hamilton.
do i need to add him and collect it again? does it give me any advantage to do that? I already got the Matt Williams card and it still says complete.

Nope. No need to collect him and no benefit to doing so. Same if someone gets traded to the Giants later this year. You're set.
