I myself feel ripped out of 6 points. I happen to get Dawson & Rizzo at the same exact time due to them being only 5 points apart from each other. I immediately began using them both & noticed I am not getting any Stage 2 Dawson PxP Mission advancement due to getting Rizzo. That Dawson Mission is now closed because Stage 2 is complete. So as it is right now, whatever PxP Dawson does get is being applied to the Repeatable April MA's PxP Mission. But no matter what I lost out on 6 points due to this.
Once u get rizzo, that is the end of stage 2. Not sure where the confusion came from?

The way it’s setup, you never do the PXP mission for Dawson; really weird.

Stage 2 has his PXP mission. Only really viable if you get to him after finishing the missions with every player you have and need his 6 points.

Except if you do every pxp missions and moments in stage 2, which I did, you’re 3 pts short to get Dawson, so you have to take the 40 points from the collection. So it’s better to just lock all five as soon as you get them. I rented them when I should have just collected and bit the bullet

SDS did a poor job explaining what you need to get the program finished but you should not be short. As others have said, each stage caps at a certain point. You also have to do the one mandatory collection in stage 2 to progress. I assuming those are the ten points you are missing. You also have you use pitcher and hitter PXP and they are separate categories. SO if you picked all pitchers than you need to get a hitter off of the AH as a rental to get the PXP and then you can sell them back if you do not collect them.

What? Unless you buy an extra player the 5 player missions, Pitcher and hitter PXP missions, and the collection add up exactly to Dawson and you need to do Dawsons PXP mission to get Rizzo

My own fault but I bought the ones for complete the full collection without realizing the last 4 rewards were unsellable for cards I already locked in. Oh well

Man it shocks me that this program has confused so many people, an the amount of blame SDS is getting because the didn't hold everyone's hand to get through it is baffling. 21 made everyone so soft the game was handed to them and now when SDS actually gives options on how to complete things but also requires to actually play the game the community is so triggered. Crazy town bananas

I do not have dawson yet I am going to have to look at this closer, I am only on stage 2.

I just got Rizzo. Didn't do the Stage 1 PXP Mission. Didn't buy anybody to Lock in for the Optional Collection...The Math Checks out guys...yes, it's a bummer that the Extra Stage 1 Points don't roll over to stage 2, but it doesn't prevent you from getting Rizzo. Or Dawson for that matter. It just kept you from getting there quicker. Play the game. Do the missions. It'll all work out. Promise

Yeah, I've been running the math on this for where I am, and I'm pretty sure it's all doable without buying cards to lock in. It's just a long pxp grind when I have 2 hitters and two RPs. I should have taken a SP and grinded 9 inning games.

Pro tip - if you want to speed things up a bit, you can rent the extra 4 Monthly Awards cards without locking them in and just sell them when you complete their individual (or group) PXP missions. Just don't lock them into the collection and you can speed up your PXP progression.
But like others have said, it's not necessary but it does help.
And P.S. you can probably make a profit in renting them if you buy and sell at the right times.

Meaning "if" I knew that was going to happen, then I would have made sure to only gotten enough points for just ONLY Dawson & do his PxP mission to get me Rizzo. It would have been 6 points less I needed from the entire Program Total. However the 15 points given to me when I completed the MA Hitter's 2500 PxP Mission is what jumped me ahead to get both Dawson & Rizzo at the same time.

Yeah I have thought of that. Of course I haven't exactly been comfortable with any sort of flip, since people are getting banned for market manipulation when all they claimed to be doing is flipping cards.
