Market is absolutely manipulated by sds. Today I pulled a diamond sponsorship. Go to market and it is selling for 2500. An hour later it is down to 2100. And about 12 hours later it is down to 1300. Thanks for the diamond sds but did you really have to give so many others the exact same diamond on the same day?
They recently added these to a collection. If the item was selling for 2500 it will likely go thru in 24 hours. As the day progresses and more people get on the margin thins.

What a spaz. You think they actually give a * about some diamond sponsorship that goes for 2K? Wouldn’t they go after higher priced/profile player items? Some of you are hilarious

Well then u explain it to me genius. If these cards were always this readily available why would the price be where I first saw it? Everybody had this one specific card the whole time and everyone randomly decided to sell the exact same day? And how am I a "spaz" for stating a simple fact. If it bothers u then maybe shut up and move along.

And this is just one example. Obviously it could also happen to higher priced cards. So ur argument is this isn't possible because it's only a diamond sponsorship? Lol great analysis there sparky.

How do they keep the inning bosses so even in price?

You guys see the sht SDS does in this game, you [censored] well know they manipulate the market when needed. Cmon now

This entire thread (except those of us with success flipping) is a WikiHow on how to say you don’t understand how the market works without saying you don’t know how the market works.

The market manipulation they “participate” in is launch pack sales, or stub sales, when the market is slow. Which is just good business. Everything else you could accuse them of is just a preparedness course on making a tin foil hat.

Selling is manipulated by s...d...s prove me wrong...
Selling is manipulated by players who are greedy, stupid or both.
Or SDS. Hard to know either way.It would be good if SDS made sure the manipulators were in check. That would be good manipulation.

While I was debating buying Bellinger & Betts for the Dodgers collection, I noticed when I went in and out of the buy screen the prices kept changing in a matter of minutes. Maybe that means nothing, but I still wonder how the Market is out of their hands when it's their game.
Are from planet Uranus swooping in and pressing buttons to make Trouty close to 600K stubs? How does he stay above 500K?
Did Kanamits parachute in and wire the system?
I wish we had Leonard Nimoy from 'In search of' or Geraldo Rivera to open the SDS 'vault,' or Lt. Columbo to train his sons to catch everyone lying like he did, back in the dayAnd this comment my friends is why I keep reading the boards. If Columbo can’t figure it out it can’t be done.

Let's go off last year's sales of around 2.5 million hard copies, and that is just hard copy numbers, not digital downloads on both platforms. That would mean that if only 10% percent of people were online at any given time, that there would be 250k people playing the game at once. And possibly playing the market as well, while they play. That's a lot of people.
Let's assume, and I think it's a fair assumption, that those numbers have at least doubled with cross platform play. That would mean around 500k, at 10 % are online either playing or playing the market. Add into those numbers the playstation and xbox numbers for digital downloads and then add in the game coming to xbox, well, the numbers could be huge at any given time, especially when you factor in that it is a gamepass release.
I think you have underestimated the sheer number of people using the market to begin with.
Add in the app to play the market anywhere you go
