Is ranked really THAT awful? I typically get into it starting in season 2 but have been toiling away through BR and the monthly award program and haven’t jumped in yet.

Events and BR have both always played better than RS does imo

Is ranked really THAT awful? I typically get into it starting in season 2 but have been toiling away through BR and the monthly award program and haven’t jumped in yet.
I mean I look at it this way... rewards are pretty good in events.. It's free entry ( So is ranked, I know) And it's 3 inning games, so when BS happens and you get blooped to death or all of a sudden your pitcher starts floating balls.. Well at least you're not wasting 45 minutes this way.
I used to only really play ranked seasons and every year I play less and less. Getting the World Series banner again just doesn't carry as much clout as I think it used to.
