There good be a number of factors to this. Xbox has made their new systems much easier to develop for any apply the needed upgrades for things.
Let's also be very real Sony won the PS4 Era generation but it seem to go to their head and they have made a number of questionable steps so far in this generation that's seems to be allowing xbox to just coast to the Top of the sales charts

For sure, they were either unaware of the issue or they tried to keep it in the dark. Not sure which would be worse honestly.

MS has been outselling Sony in NA for years.
This just isn't true:
"In the USA, XBox sold 31.39 million consoles, while Playstation sold 37.5 million. That’s as close as Microsoft got to taking the tile, with figures across the rest of the world putting them in a distant second place."
PS5 sales were almost double those of Xbox Series S/X as of February.

I haven't tried this yet but I am thinking an Xbox controller might play better due to the placement of the left analog. Some days I cannot move the pci to the ball and I wonder if it is due to not being able to hold my hands/thumbs vertically. I am terrible at the game however, so that could be it as well.

I'll help you out.. he's a troll, and he's convinced himself that the camera in center field at minute maid park Is the only reason the astros beat his Dodgers in the WS.... in dodger stadium

Yeah, doesn't affect me much at all either. We actually have both consoles in our house. I am a PS5 user and my son is Xbox Series X. I end up on both machines but prefer the Sony controller to MS.

It would be one thing if the game supported 120hz to get that 120 fps, but it doesnt. The difference between playing a game at 60 fps on a 60hz screen and 60 fps on a 120hz screen isnt and or wasnt much of a difference at all for me, and if anything made my screen little bit darker on 120hz which i disliked. I play on TCL 6 series 2022 model, hdmi 2.1, and XSX.

It would be one thing if the game supported 120hz to get that 120 fps, but it doesnt. I can assure you it makes a huge difference as of now in the offline world for me. Input lag is so much faster. On HOF last night in mini season and even in challenge of the week just for some testing I was early on EVERYTHING. So once you get the timing down it is a big thing for us. For me it allowed me to actually track the ball deeper into the zone before I swang. When I play on my monitor during the day at 60hz it plays completely different then when I put it on the LG C1.
Now, if it actually plays like that one 120hz is turned on and working in H2H.... well it's going to be fun for us PS guys.

Maybe not your intention, but that's a bit harsh. If the simple solution for me (in the sense that it doesn't bother me) is to turn off cross play, I'm satisfied. I used to work in tech and would obsess over specs and being up to date and the latest stuff. I changed field and really, what's the big deal with 60 vs 120 fps or 1080 vs 1440; or 120hz. There's a work around for that.
At the same time, PS5 owners who feel they got short changed knew that XBox had superior capacities at release, and that Sony had some catching up to do.

You're just being ignorant. Let's just conveniently forget Game 5 of that series in Minute Maid with the teams both tied at 2-2. Astros didn't has ONE single swing and miss on 51 breaking balls thrown by Kershaw and they needed 13 runs to win in extra innings. Kershaw in G1 at Dodger Stadium went 7 innings, 11 strikeouts, and only gave up 1 run. He threw 4 innings of relief in G7 at Dodgers stadium and gave up 0 runs and struck out 4. All I know is that the Astros have never won a World Series without cheating. Choked in 2019 with a super stacked team and choked in 2021 against the Braves.

Huh, good to know as I plan to go next gen in a few weeks I will do the research. Thanks for bringing this to my attention as I was for sure going PS5.

I wouldn’t be so sure. The game is crashing every time I start a 9-inning game against the cpu. No one is responding to my thread about it, and no one is responding to the tickets I’ve sent in for the crashes. Makes the game unplayable
