18 was in a class of its own. But given that next gen consoles have been out this long, given that we know they’re making more money than ever before and managed to not improve this game at all and made it DRASTICALLY worse is, IMO, a worse failure than 18 was
Not only is gameplay online downright pathetic, you have a broken game mode for a majority of players, you have patches with changes that aren’t even noted in the patch notes (120hz introduction) all topped off by matchmaking being what they broke from the patch with the player base being the ones to figure out the resolution to their mistake
22 is very close, and I mean very close to eclipsing 18 for the worst year they’ve put out but imo, 22 is already worse given what SDS has to work with and what they put out
I will not buy 23 until I’ve read reviews regarding online play that are positive into May of 23
If that isn’t there, I’m also done with this game

Ign is nothing more than a paid billboard. Everygame gets a 6 or 7 unless you pay, then you get a 8. To be a 9 the streamers must like the game (also paid for).

And it’s pretty obvious the route they’re going down with introducing this to Xbox and switch; catering to casuals with RNG laden terribly random gameplay and nothing resembling a competitive mode

some of top players switched to xbox, its not about catering to casuals, its the fact the ps5 doesnt run as smooth as the xbox.

GT7 is a good (but differently focused) racing game too but they definitely made some questionable calls and decisions those first few weeks. I have not kept up with it since to see if they changed course.

Yeah I'm not a racing game guy so I got the names confused. I know all this stuff because Grand turismo came out I was going to buy it. Luckily I waited till the reviews came out (something I will always do In the future now, thanks battlfield) and I saved my money.

If I had a PS5 I would have picked up GT7 micro transaction don't bother me so thos changes and just have to work harder to know how to get ahead in the game. Forza though is crazy that game is a case study in too much content. I can't keep up. Not saying it's bad but after playing MLB for a month I went back and was like umm I'm lost

I dunno man, I have both and an Odyssey G7 monitor. PS5 is smooth as butter, series x is a stuttery mess. Even after reinstall.

People should really try and EA game again. It’s different then it was 10 years ago lmao. Fifa just put out 5,000,000 coins in earnable cards this week. You make about 250,000k coins a week. My team is worth 20,000,000 coins it isn’t pay to win it just works differently.

I buy this game every year. I don't always play DD tho. But rtts is hot garbage now, and franchise hasn't changed in years

18 was in a class of its own. But given that next gen consoles have been out this long, given that we know they’re making more money than ever before and managed to not improve this game at all and made it DRASTICALLY worse is, IMO, a worse failure than 18 was
Not only is gameplay online downright pathetic, you have a broken game mode for a majority of players, you have patches with changes that aren’t even noted in the patch notes (120hz introduction) all topped off by matchmaking being what they broke from the patch with the player base being the ones to figure out the resolution to their mistake
22 is very close, and I mean very close to eclipsing 18 for the worst year they’ve put out but imo, 22 is already worse given what SDS has to work with and what they put out
I will not buy 23 until I’ve read reviews regarding online play that are positive into May of 23
If that isn’t there, I’m also done with this game
I mean IGN gave 22 a 7/10… what would you need the rating to be in order for you to buy it?!
Ign is nothing more than a paid billboard. Everygame gets a 6 or 7 unless you pay, then you get a 8. To be a 9 the streamers must like the game (also paid for).

I mean I’ll admit, I swore not to buy 22 and here I am…but this game has pushed me to the end of my rope
And it’s pretty obvious the route they’re going down with introducing this to Xbox and switch; catering to casuals with RNG laden terribly random gameplay and nothing resembling a competitive mode
Straw that broke the camels back, something along those lines
some of top players switched to xbox, its not about catering to casuals, its the fact the ps5 doesnt run as smooth as the xbox.
That’s your opinion and that’s fine. I agree Xbox has the advantage right now. But if you don’t think this game caters to casual players…well I won’t waste time trying to change your mind when online play clearly shows this

see you here next year. Its the same thing every year and we act all shocked and say hopefully 23's better. Its not going to be. Put down the ego and unless you are comp try and play the game to have fun. Its video games, its legit made to get away from the seriousness of our lives. Relax and try to have some fun.

going to get the game as you claimed and yet here you are, history repeating itself.I stopped taking the game seriously. I used to be really competitive. Doesn't mean the game doesn't suck because it does. So many good swings in the pci shouldn't be outs.
well duh, but i've grown numb to just expect it at this point, just try to enjoy when i play, the foul balls are bad tho, like really bad. Might be because of the current pitchers were using, not very good.
