Yeah thats back in the day though. There rebooted NBA live and it neither improved 2K or made for a good game by itself.
Also I don't see games that are made by studios that EA buys out to be EA developed games. They do a great job of buying out studios and having those guys make games(It takes Two and Apex legends for Example). EA sports devs are pure bred EA scumbags though -

Not only is gameplay online downright pathetic, you have a broken game mode for a majority of players, you have patches with changes that aren’t even noted in the patch notes (120hz introduction) all topped off by matchmaking being what they broke from the patch with the player base being the ones to figure out the resolution to their mistake

My decision to buy 23 will come from feedback on this forum from credible players who have been around and know what they’re taking about (raesone for example)
If they confirm that online play is good at least into May of next year, I’ll pull the trigger

I mean I’ll admit, I swore not to buy 22 and here I am…but this game has pushed me to the end of my rope
And it’s pretty obvious the route they’re going down with introducing this to Xbox and switch; catering to casuals with RNG laden terribly random gameplay and nothing resembling a competitive mode
Straw that broke the camels back, something along those lines

I buy this game every year. I don't always play DD tho. But rtts is hot garbage now, and franchise hasn't changed in years

I would be fine with the game trying to take more of our money with forcing micro transactions by manipulating quicksell values to minimize the amount of stubs NMS players can make off ratings updates. I’d be fine with it, if and only if gameplay was GOOD! . Right now it’s complete garbage. Hitting engine makes NO SENSE! PERFECT pitcher input throws pitches OUTSIDE the PAR ?! What is this game? I know I’m not the only one feeling this. I’ve seen many content creators complain about the same [censored]. We all see it. These are just a couple of issues, there are many more problems that we see and it honestly reaffirms my opinion and the fact that this will be my last year on this game. I’m hoping the end of the license contract comes quick and hopefully another company can throw their hat in the ring with creating a good MLB game, because right now, it’s atrocious.
