I think the better question is what will the overalls be? If they are like 91s then they will not break out any names that are big. 93s might get a cover Athlete or artist card an upgrade.
-
I have not been this bored playing this game this early, I play mostly offline, Part of that might have been Mini Season issues, and differently not having TA as we did in years past. Hard to get excited about a new Feature program. I was able to finish the Feature program with the double XP last night. If I did not finish it, it would have been fine. Flipping cards on the Market is not the same this year. This has nothing to do with game play. I was finally able to complete Mini Season this weekend but with it ending on May 2nd no time to run it again. I have done the Mystery CQ Map 50 times, I may just go back to that and just try and get players to PAR 5. The other programs to collect Niki Connect Jersey not all that interesting. I have done most of the TN moments. Those get boring after awhile. I am 5 cards from the LS collection

Me in a nutshell. I do dabble in online, but the events are too short. And... I feel like I "ran out of stuff to do." TA was awesome last year... I'm really missing that.
-
I think in the content stream they said this program would be 3 weeks long.
As for guesses on the legends I'm going with they will be 91 to 92 overalls
91 Breakout Erine Banks
92 Prime Dibble
92 Postseaon Lou Brock
92 Vet Vlad Guerrero
91 2nd half 2008 AJ Burrnet -
The "Bauer Outage" program: As Trevor Bauer strike three batters out before slicing your finger open on a drone, OR alternatively, play out the first year of your new contract without being accused of assault and battery.

100 percent agree I think they took a step backwards not having TA. TA was a positive and last year they fixed it where things can be done offline and online, I wonder why it was removed this year. I know it is early in the game but the way it is right now I will probably not do early release next year. I will still get the game because I still love baseball and like this game. I just have to find what will make it fun for the whole year this year.

TA last year ruined the game. The level and quality of players given away devalued all other aspects of the game. After TA 2 was release everything after that was generally considered and L by tye community cause they always said "well these rewards are underwhelming as they doing match up to what you can get in TA"
TA was also way to easy minimal effort would get you a top level card. The change to it being division based was a mistake they should have always kept it team specific ad those took a much longer time to grind out to get the player reward.
TA spoiled players an now that we have gone back to a more focused approach with side programs to fill in like it has always been the community thinks it's a step backwards. It's not a step backwards it was a course correction to make people build line ups and make decisions on who to pock and make your team better.

Yeah I back and forth on Vlad and Foxx I went Vlad cause I love his cards so went with my heart on thT one
I agree with Dibble for some reason I though he topped out at 91 rating wise so yeah need a better pick there, Percival a good one maybe a Smoltz reliever card as that would almost be a troll job on the community and I am here for that

The AS players in TA agree, The community wanted better cards early and got them, then they complained about getting them early, it like a no win for SDS, I really do not care when cards get released or the rating of the card but I do wish they would go back to 99 attibutes and get rid of 125. Back on topic, I love the the TA if they make it easy or hard would not bother me but people care to much about easy and how hard something is. You will always have players that this game is to easy and some it is to hard. I like to just enjoy the game and have fun, at this point it has become boring. 400 innings in RS that would take all my time, I am not good enough for BR and events are frustrating at times, Since 17 and the 125 attributes pitches has become not important in this game and is difficult as they made hitting the priority. Online is not fun cause I love pitching in this game. Having HR hit that are out of the zone or a player fouls off 8 pitches which should have been a k and then hits a HR or gets a hit on a pitch that should have k, that is the most frustrating part of pitching in this game. I understand what you said about TA and the issue it had last year but removing it completely to me is not the answer.

It's full removal is a discussion we can have for sure bringing back TA and make it team base and not division would have been better maybe but if it was removed so we can have more diverse feature programs I am all for it.
I am not concerned that the first program was to long and the reward path was to short that was an issue all the way back to 19 with the into of the inning programs and it gets more settled so nothing has changed with that.
-
This program was boring. And the way it's structured -- yuck...
20 was my favorite, with the XP reward path always active along with the innings. Vouchers. Just so much more in-depth.
That being said -- I'm thankful. SDS unintentionally made the game much less appealing and addictive from my POV.
Oh, and I predict bosses will be 92, since RS and BR rewards are 91 and FOTF are 90.

I know there are many things going wrong with this game but it's still fun to guess player rewards and what a program will look like.
They announced there will be 5 Bosses and we get to select 2. I'm assuming this will be a short program.
Any guesses on who the bosses are or what the program will entail?
Someone on Reddit said 5 “cleanup” hitters.
Maybe we get Ortiz, Howard, and 3 other cleanup guys.
-
They just teased one. Looks to be Zack Britton. Sets the bar at 93 then

I am not concerned about the first program but it was pretty easy to finish the reward path, I agree TA should be team based and I do hope they bring it back if not this year next year. I did not feel this feature program was all that diverse and I did not have to do half of the things they put in it to complete it. It was not all that much fun. I hardly did any of the moments, I did very little exhanges, did not do the showdowns, I did half the mission based stuff and the CQ Maps. I did not rush with XP. I was able to finish it with 3 or 4 days left. The other programs with the Niki connect was not interesting at all or really that fun to do. I only finish the Nationals one. I did the Jackie program, half of the TN moments for now. I want the Dawson card and I know I will need them for a player Program at some point.
-
It’s a clean up program, so I doubt Brock and other guesses hit cleanup in most lineups.
This will be all power hitters and closers.
-
Not sure why they removed the Inning program...I really miss that tbh. Not huge fan of the minor changes they've made that make it tough to earn the currency in game.

You and I go back and forth on this. I understand that the way TA was structured and the Degrom, Cabrera etc cards released with outlier so early made online playing a problem. Coupled with the repeatable showdowns and quadruple exchange options,, and it definitely made online more challenging. But online is not the only mode. That doesn't mean it ruined the game. As an offline player, I didn't feel any of that pain. I never faced Cabrera nor did I use him because I didn't need or want to.
A few modifications and those issues would have been fixed. Don't have unlimited showdown points. Just once. Don't have 4 exchanges for every division, just one. Don't give out a 99 Degrom with outlier until the last TA. Reduce the rewards a bit...not to the degree that they have been reduced. Boom....fixed. Now offline players have something to do for longer and online players don't have to deal with the same OP pitchers or dealing with people who exploit the programs.
@the_dragon1912 made a good point, people were only playing after the release of TA and so they wanted to find a way to keep players on more consistently along with the issues you mentioned. But that just blows my mind, the most popular program (based on Dragon's assessment) was TA and they just removed it. You can tell me all day long that it's basically the same as the Featured Program but it's not even close. 6 rewards plus an Inning program path v. 1. Mini seasons would be great but it's not playable for many people.
I get it, online players have to deal with the exploiters and wallet warriors and there should definitely be checks and balances to deal with that. But offline players are only playing against ourselves. I don't care if somebody gets the whole collection before me. I am playing against nobody but myself. But unfortunately there's just not much to play offline this year. I keep trying to stay positive but it's less than a month in and I'm already playing 21 again.

I thought about going to 21 and just PAR players, I agree with you 100 percent. I still have all the previous games going back to 17 installed including 18 but I will never go play that one again it is just there for looks lol,
