Is he worth ~40k? He was one of my favorite pitchers in 20' (didn't play 21) so I'm wondering if I should build my rotation around him now.
I won't get 99 Randy unless I pull Trout.

If it was his end game 99 I would say 100% worth it but since this is probably his 2nd best card you could easily pick up Kluber for half the price
But if stubs are easy to acquire for you I would plug him into rotation but I wouldn’t “build” around him just yet

Rumor has it that he has the generic windup/delivery like he did in 21 so he's not nearly as good as he was in 20 when he had his windup/delivery.
I don't have him yet so I can't confirm.
