DD squads in co-op?

I've not played much, waiting on the bugs to be addressed. Tried 2 3v3 games tonight - froze in 1st inning on both.
anyway, I didn't have the option to choose DD squads instead of MLB. did i dream about DD squads in co-op? wasn't that supposed to be a thing?

You have to choose online modes inside dd and then choose coop.
