If I throw one more fastball and a kid gets a very late blooper on a ball that shouldn't be touched I'm deadass gonna break something. My outfielders shouldnt react bad to a blooper regardless of how bad their rating is.. like, why is Grady Sizemore taking a long [censored] studder step on a blooper 30 feet in front of him and to the side? Couldn't read it came off the bat like a whiffle ball bat? No reason I should be lining out 5 times in a row, and hitting a foul ball on a perfect timing pitch btw... have a clip if yall need it sds. Sds only added very early and very late contact to bail out these [censored] cans that have the depth perception of a gold fish.

Bloop hits happen in regular baseball. Break something if you want but the only person you're making look dumb is yourself.

"No reason I should be lining out 5 times in a row"

Not everything is going to be a hit. Deal with it.

" hitting a foul ball on a perfect timing pitch btw"

This is not possible. Stop cappin

" Sds only added very early and very late contact to bail out these [censored] cans that have the depth perception of a gold fish."

I only see excuses. Go outside....take a lap....and then come back later

While posting every time you lose a game to rng is a waste, he isn’t wrong on the base gameplay issues. There are way too many bloopers on bad contact falling for hits this year and way too few line drive hits in comparison (fyi, in actual MLB, the batting average on ALL line drives is .600 and that should be reflected in game).

If I were to break something on every late blooper I gave up, I would have ran out of stuff in my house a week ago.

The line drive outs are out of control. It's so bad it's comical. It isn't "baseball"; it's bad programming. Line drive out %'s aren't nearly that high in real baseball.

Well if he didnt stutter step and the game gave you control of him right away instead of an animation (you giving up control for 2 seconds of added realism).....that guy wouldn't have gotten a hit....would he?

Stop being so selfish and let EVERYONE have fun!!!!

I feel like such an idiot when I see these guys fouling off curves and splitters in the dirt and I check swing for a strike out. I should just contact dirt balls all day.

Now you guys want realism? You are playing arcade mode when online. If offline choose simulation.

It is funny how online guys said all they wanted was input to matter. Now you want exactly MLB outcomes. LoL

What I'm explaining in my post is literally that I want a larger skill gap due to user input

The only way a PP should be an out in online competitive play is if it's hit into a shift. Period.

This isn't IRL baseball. Competitive mode, per SDS's description, is where "stick skills reign supreme."

That's NOT the case at all.
