Is this a request or have you seen it somewhere? I agree, he should get one and a 99 would be silly this early, he'd be everyone's 1B. Maybe they should have a 93 and then later in the year create an evolution program to bump him up to 99.

A program similar to Jackies from 20 would be fine with me. Give him that 92 that they always gibe us now, make up some 97 in Late june or july, and a 99 in August or something.
Or even better: Release the card now but you need 3000 hits to unlock him(just kidding that is some immortal nonsense)

How does using stubs to complete the collections make you a dummy?

My idea is a 3000 hit milestone, use his LS pwr with contacts similar to Clemente, then later in the summer release an upgrade for 500 HRs with a high diamond ratings and be a dual milestone card
