I think it’s pretty clear this game stinks. I’m transitioning to working full time as I’m nearing my degree and I find it really hard to come home from a 9-5 and enjoy this game. It’s gotten worse and worse over the years, content is boring for younger guys like myself that want to use juiced up current players without having to wait for finest. There’s zero hit variety and it feels like everything gets caught in the outfield when that’s just not the case in real life. Every outfielder in this game is kiermaier. Got pretty close to World Series playing mostly unenjoyable games and after giving the game a fair shot I think I’m gonna finally hang it up and uninstall. After no lifeing the game last year being the best I’ve ever personally been like ranked around 250-300 I’ve achieved all I could ask for from myself. I just don’t see a point wasting my time in this game when it’s just not fun and that’s the consensus with most that I’ve seen on here and twitter alike. I wish everyone in the community good luck with everything they got going on it was a fun ride.
Imagine posting this 3 weeks into the game's life cycle. Go touch grass and breath some fresh air then come back and play in September when all the 99s come out and praise the DEVs like all the other children before you who've done the same thing in the last 6 years.
Long story short. No game is ever perfect right away and you whining on a forum is not going to change that.

Used to be that way for me but I gained the self control to let go of madden, then 2k, and now finally this game. I feel no regrets. I could never grind the game and be good in middle and high school but these 2 years of college I finally accomplished that. It just sucks the game couldn't really advance past the stage that its been in for the last 5 years. I'm young and I realize there's a lot better things I could be doing with my time. I made a lot of great memories and some bad ones with this game but its bittersweet to finally know when to let it go. Jeez this sounds like a breakup letter lol. But you guys get the point.

I feel that man. Online gaming has been ruined by sbmm, rng, and player retention algorithms. Everything Is designed to keep people who aren't good playing the game.

appreciate it man, I actually remember playing you last year in my WS game for trout. You were tough dude. One of the few solid players I can remember that wasn't super weird and toxic. Best of luck to you too my man

Elden Ring is the first FromSoftware game I’ve played and it’s absolutely incredible. Just an amazing game. The satisfaction of getting better is amazing and the game is just beautiful and plays phenomenally
You won’t regret it

I'm going to try it as well. But I'll wait till it's on sale. Dark souls games are super hard for no reason other than they bought into their own hype. The graphics look ps4 at best, the world looks empty, hit reg is awful, i generally don't enjoy roll spam games. But everyone is losing their mind over this game so I'll try it.

Agree, the constant cycle of being killed a la Dark Souls makes me hesitate but yes everything I see is that this one is just a different beast. I never played anything Dark Souls related I've just watched clips and heard stories lol. Haven't heard one bad thing about this game

Really? I've heard like 50/50. Some say "game of the year" and others, "most overrated game ever".
I tend to believe that, like most over hyped games, it's somewhere in the middle. I imagine it's going to be valhalla meets BOTW. Alot of empty boring quests, poorly written npcs, and impossible boss fights.

Lol I'll happily throw it out there too. My favorite video game of all time was Majoras Mask prior to Elden Ring. Its a much larger Skyrim with far superior combat.

The urge to resist the naysaying is fading. The game is beautiful, any large scale game is going to have some empty environments, and I haven't had any issues myself with hit registration. I play on Ps5 which was the console the game was optimized for and ported everywhere else. But yes I lost my mind for this game, and it was worth every penny. I can't wait to get bored of MLBTS, finish plat on the Ps5 and jump down to the Ps4 and plat that too.

Destiny 1 was addicting
I remember going to the Lighthouse 3 times that year - the rush was unreal
Destiny was so fun, shame I never finished a single raid or ever visited the lighthouse.

For sure man. Like I said I'll try it out. But for as much money as I put into this game, I'm rather stingy when it comes to buying games at full price lol

tbh i was carried by one of the best in the world - i held my own but those 3 vs 3 battles were really intense, especially trying to get 13-0 flawless to even get to the lighthouse
it is a super fun game for sure bud - the raids were a bit boring after awhile i preferred the Trials of Osiris online play

Also hopefully Starfield comes out this year and is a good game. Bethesda has called it "skyrim in space".
You could always buy skyrim...again...for the fourth time... remastered... again

I'm a huge Destiny 2 fan but never played D1. From what I understand, I missed a lot of great gaming.

Elden ring is getting high praise because it’s actually fun and actually finished. Something games don’t seem to be very worried about these days.
