There is just no way Sony can be happy with the content they put out with this game. DD is stripped down and you’re lucky to even get there if the game loads or doesn’t crash.

Absolutely agree. Every aspect of the game is worse than last year. Ive never seen such unrealistic game "physics" in a "The Show" game. Every 4th hit is a diving catch. Line drives float at 20 mph. Players warp to get into a catch animation. The pitcher is a black hole that catches anything within a 10 ft width around the mound. Then there is the graphical glitches from LAST YEAR that still arent fixed. Then there are the dozen crashes ive experienced in limited play time, and 2 complete console locks, in which i had to hard reset my XBox.
(Yeah, im playing on Game Pass b/c i wasnt preordering after those awful "feature premieres" --- "Switch" & "Co-op" -- really?)
The programs are SO stripped down. The content is unengaging. Everything seems sloppy & low effort.
Not to mention -- this is the first real NEXT GEN year and we got NOTHING to make use of all that console power.
Its just a complete disappointment.
This should have been the year they made the game more realistic than ever, and instead we got a soulless Madden-itzation of the franchise.
Is it me or have the decreased the stubs you get from playing,too? I feel like i used to get enough to at least buy a card here & there....this year i swear ive gotten like SINGLE DIGITS for playing conquest games.

Disagree that its the first real " next gen" year.that wont happen until they have inventory sitting on store shelves without out of stocks. the rest hasnt happened to me and i am greatly enjoying the game, although sad for those who it is happening to.

I would just like to get into a ranked game. I’m 4-4 this season and have only played like 15 innings because the game is broken at its core. 2 of those games I lost before a pitch was thrown because I didn’t make it in the lobby. I legitimately enjoy this game when I can play it aside from some questionable hits but I accept most of those as just baseball, ya know.

Just the regression in the overall quality is insane. Hitting is a bit regressed but not enough that it throws off my enjoyment. They definitely took a page out of EA’s book as far as giving out free currency that can actually buy you stuff as well

I agree. They should have made it more realistic. I like the infield errors. There needs to be outfield errors as well to balance out the realism. And the audio last names, well, instead of taken away from, they should have added names. I play franchise mode and was disappointed. And the commentary is so repetitive especially about hearing the ball whistle. I still play the heck out of 21 more than 22. Oh and as far as the legends go, recycled legends I should say. Only a handful of legends were added. Again disappointing.

Then move on to another game! The devs are busy as heck trying to cater to each and everyone of your needs it’s impossible unless you give it time. Just be glad mlb 22 is here and stop complaining about the nuances with this game! Play it and enjoy it for what it’s worth! If you can’t then shame on you for not spending money wisely and foregoing this game. Jesus.

Its early,lets try to believe some of these issues are being noted and adressed. My biggest suggestion to SDS would be hire some guys who actually play the game to beta test it. Some of the [censored] that is broken in the game was fine before they changed it.In short leave whats working alone and focus on what you aint fixed in last 2 years. Why introduce this mini season debacle and do away with extra innings mode? Extra innings mode wasthe best vrs CPU option you had.Not everyone is locked into Ranked YouTube Season.

Its rough like this every year this is actually the best launch yet bug wise. Its a GREAT series it just seems to not get much of a budget from Sony.

I agree. Realism goes a long way in today’s games, especially sports games. This isn’t the 80s or 90s anymore. To me SDS got lazy and too comfortable with their paychecks

I know not everyone puts their cities in their name but I bet most do. I mean when you get 8 east names in a row, most of them are probably east coast.
