Is it normal for SDS to say nothing about roster updates?

The complete silence on roster updates has me legitimately concerned Suzuki, Cano, Giles (others?) will not be added tomorrow. $85 dollars for a game only to wait weeks to be able to even START a franchise?
I'm sure I'll get the 'first time?" jokes coming in lol. I know SDS doesn't care about franchise, at all. I don't think I'm asking for too much to be able to play with Suzuki within 2 weeks of launch though.
Anybody know the likelihood of an update including the missing players dropping tomorrow? Someone throw me some hopium plz

Once a player plays in a game, they are normally added in the next roster update unless the first game they played in was within a couple days of the update. There have been rare occasions where there’s a delay due to issues the devs can’t control.

When I logged on today it said it was updating rosters. But I didn't look to see who got added or removed. And they aren't putting it under roster updates yet.

No official roster update yet, but I noticed if you play Exhibition (Live Rosters) are updated. For example I saw Andrew Knapp on the Pirates

I think sds wants to release its first roster update in active season today in combination with Jacky Robinson Day. Think they find it special.

Yeah. None of the missing players. But the players already in the game are on there new teams. Austin Meadows is on the Tigers as well. Didn't check Sean Manea though
