I agree. It doesn't make since to have it just end. A 5 pack every 25k after the program would be great. Also only allow xp to be gained in DD modes, stop trying to hang carrots in front of dynasty and rtts players in hopes that they cave in and play dd and possibly buy stubs. It's madden tactics.
-
Well I also hear that the RTTS XP isn't repeatable so folks might be disappointed in their path of rushing future programs.
I cannot confirm this, as I don't play RTTS on rookie for cheap XP, or really for any reason until the regular MLB season is over. Just a heads up.
-
The featured program reward path is not the be all end all of the game. There are plenty of other places to earn packs, cards, and stubs. You may not be XP glitching, but based on the issues SDS has had in the past it would be foolish to put an infinite amount of rewards in the reward path because people would find a way to take advantage. I'm getting somewhat close to the end myself, but I'm fine with that. I'm still working on the BR program, and I haven't even touched the new event or ranked yet. There is plenty to do, and if I get bored there are plenty of other games to play until the next program starts.

It's not the path that Is giving tons of xp. From what I've seen it's just smashing homruns on one of those super easy difficulties. Idk tho I haven't played rtts. I refuse to buy equipment or even touch that mode until I get tired of DD. I want to start my rtts from the ground up and play it realistically.
It strange tho because sds doesn't mind making DD rookie/veteran more difficult to slow down xp gains (speculation). But they still allow lower than rookie difficulties on rtts where you can easily gain more xp.
The whole xp thing need to go. Go back to the star system. They only use xp so that way people who never played DD are unlocking packs and if they open a couple the might get hooked.

It just proves he plays the game just for the rewards, not to play a rewarding 9 innings...

Kinda a dumb thing to say don't you think? We all play DD for the rewards in one way or another. It's a game mode designed around collecting better and better cards.

Yep, keep XP and programs separate; so many stuff that went away that didn't need to, like the golden tickets. I understand changing the format after 3 years of innings, but keep the star system.

Well you can just continue to spam the mystery map, that's "infinite rewards". People just want somthing to work towards, even if it's just watching the xp add up without any rewards past 600k. I'd like to see if I can break a million personally

MLBTS 15 and 16 were two of my favorites because there were no World Series rewards. It was just a ladder.

Boost your way to being done a program 15 days early then whine because now your play counts towards "nothing"
Get bent
I didn't boost anything lol. I've just done all the moments, missions, collections, conquests, showdowns, etc. A LOT of people finish early. I'm nowhere near the first.
It’s not hard to max out the program. Mini season gives a ton, work on ball player, grind the event and conquests and anyone can be at 500k +.
I’ve played less than I did last year at launch and I’m at level 33 out of 36.
-
I’m a big advocate or awarding XP for hard contact lineouts, perfect perfect outs, lengthy at-bats, etc. It would make the tough-luck aspect of the game a little more palpable.

Not dumb. Of course we all play for the earned rewards, but whining because you complete the provided reward path for the month is just childish. I'm a childish person, but that's nothing I complain about with this game.
