Why does Aroldis Chapman not have Outlier 1?

Edit: Also, why @Collin_SDS_PSN is the team seemingly set on removing outlier from Aroldis Chapman, even from his flashback card? Beginning of 2021 he didn't have it either and you guys had to patch it in, the guy clearly has not lost much, if any, gas.

I cannot hit him with outlier and it kept me from getting into WS, so I called Ramone and told him to remove that garbage!
It's all Ramone's fault!
I could call him up and have him put it back in, if it means that much to you.

It's kind of like deGrom LS card at the beginning of last year. The guy consistently hits 100+ more than any other starter in the MLB when he's healthy

I think with him and DeGrom and others they’re trying to not have them all have outlier right away... A lot of new people pick up the game and they probably don’t want what happened last year with outlier pin point dots all game long... I’m sure his Sig will have it later on.

If this is the case why have outlier at all?

Two outlier pitchers killed the game last year Cabrera and DeGrom.. It got to a point where people didn’t want to play online, so I think they are going to roll out outlier and hits per nine better this year to keep more people playing. There are very few pitchers with over 90 hits per nine and outlier right now..

I agree they are definitely adjusting from last year with the h/9 which is a good thing. However if they are going to wait to give pitchers outlier then I agree with @Ikasnu_PSN when he says why have it at all? If a pitcher throws over 100 they throw over 100.

It wouldn’t matter because it’s so quick to parallel a pitcher, maybe they could do something where you essentially unlock outlier, say at P4 or something

And Chapman is averaging 100.3 on his sinker.

I don't get the utility of outlier, other than a visual aid like walker. If the throws 99-102, he throws that hard. No need for a perk, passive or not.

Outlier will make every fastball 102mph… I’d like it to be gone, if you hit 99-102 then you should fluctuate between 99 and 102 based on your input and stamina.

Wasn't that the change made to outlier this year though? I remember it being handled differently, or it was just a chance at 102 with most pitches being 100

I only say it b/c the pitchers with outlier always cost the most, and it drives the price down of other pitchers who are better in other categories that are just as important.

That's a LS collection reward? If so i don't go out of my way to do LS collection. Mostly b/c the way market works.
