Well, logic dictates if hits outside the zone are possible, grouping 3 together in one inning would also be possible.

It IS possible, because I just provided the proof that it happened. The question is whether this is acceptable or not, especially in the context of the second screenshot I provided. To me it's not.

I'd be livid if it happened to me

    But what is the solution?

The only way to make sure that is impossible is no hits out of the zone, otherwise it will happen at some point

I'm okay with giving up the occasional hit like that. Even if its followed up by a 2 run homer. But this was just ridiculous and cost me 5 runs against a player who couldn't recognize a pitch if his life depended on it.

A solution would be a band aid akin to what was implemented to combat bunt cheese, which ruined sac bunting, including in franchise mode. The game don’t need more band aids.

Was the hitter Vlad Sr? I mean, he could hit balls in any location for a hit. Didn't he once hit a bounced ball for a HR? If he had that hidden quirk in the game I could see this. Anyone else, I hope this is an isolated issue.

The pitching in this game is an absolutely s.h.i.t.show and SDS will never admit how bad it is. I swear it pulls my slideers just into the zone enough for someone to hit a homer and when it’s outside the zone, they still smash it. What a joke. Get off your butts and do something SDS.

So he has the right to be ticked off and you would be livid if it happened to you…but when someone who you obviously don’t like has issues with the hitting in this game, the same issues you experience in your own games, you downplay they’re comments?? You really are confused aren’t you about your beliefs. Just wow.

I don't think he downplayed it, he's right. There is no solution because this is what the game is.

Were they the same pitch type? Sometimes individual pitch confidence gets low, even lower than total pitcher confidence.

Sometimes that has a part to play in it. Not trying to justify anything, just trying to explain what may have happened in those outcome rolls.

If I give up back to back flukes like that, it's a mound visit every time for me.

I don't remember man I played a ton of games today. Either way I know how to play this game and I know all the stuff you mention, and I also put it into practice. So I doubt that I kept throwing the same pitch without mound visits.

Somthing is going on with the game. Could it be contact swings?

I'm sure if somthing sketchy is happening it will show up on youtube

It is contact swinging. Last night I tried it because I couldn’t understand some of the results, to my surprise if I wasn’t blooping my opponent I was hitting liners and bombs with 103mph exit velo or higher.

Grand Slam with a "4"? Wow

No that was actually a perfect/perfect, no idea why it says 4 there. Missed pitch. But it should've been a solo shot at the worst, maybe not even because my pitcher confidence was so low after giving up all these hits which probably lead to leaving that in that location.

Do those numbers mean anything. Seems like it's always a 2 or a

4 means the amount of total bases the swing generated

Wish I screen shot the batter analysis from my last game, but it was absolutely brutal. I see where you're coming from. 11 opposite field ground ball base hits given up. 3 of them on late 7 on very late swings. 10/11 of them either 3 balls off the plate inside or nearly buried in the dirt.

Before giving up a walk off that was legitimately crushed because I finally left one hanging, no knock there, I was winning or tied the whole game and still felt like it was the worst this game has ever played for me (started dabbling in 19, went all in since). Idk if I'd call it unplayable, but the mechanics of this game have taken a step back at the very least.

I kept pitching to spots that have historically lead to low percentage chance of hits and kept getting balls that should be hits like 5% of the time sneak through over and over. It's not like I spammed the same pitch in the same spot either.

The worst thing is that all these things have been identified and acknowledged issues in the past, and yet they somehow miraculously keep finding their way back into the games. It's like they keep changing personnel without passing on memos. Which isn't even the case, because the dev team has been the same for god knows how long.

My best guess is that they change sliders without calling it a "Patch" so no one knows its been done.
