They can’t justify it and they hide when visual evidence shows how shady this game is. Countless images/video clips over the years prove everything us “complainers” are talking about. Are they really going to deny visual evidence??
Interesting part is…I guarantee you those players experience everything we talk about for themselves but they’ll literally come on here and still defend this game like no other.
Or maybe our egos aren't so fragile that a loss in a video game doest derail our whole existence and we move on an enjoy life

Honestly, you got screwed by having at least 2 very low probability swings result in hits, but I'm guessing better defenders would have made the plays on the infield singles and it doesn't help that they had a bunch of speed. Also using a gold starter with low h/9 against solid hitters contributed to them putting the ball in play on pitches off the plate.
My pitcher was diamond Logan Webb, I'm using pretty much diamond and gold defenders exclusively except for Josh Bell and Corey Seager who weren't the fielders where these balls were hit to. They all landed in the outfield, where I have FOTF Reynolds, Buxton and Tucker.
-
Thats weird unless I was looking at another game that went the same way for you. Said you pitched kazmir and two of the hits were infield singles, one to 3rd one to ss

Oh I could be wrong then because Kazmir is in my rotation. My bad. Still doesn't justify these hits imo.

Yesterday Nick Castellanos got a hit on a pitch that was 18 inches outside. It was a thing of beauty.

I saw that hit. But my opponent was not Nick Castellanos and had the pitch recognition of a blind person.

Well, logic dictates if hits outside the zone are possible, grouping 3 together in one inning would also be possible.

It IS possible, because I just provided the proof that it happened. The question is whether this is acceptable or not, especially in the context of the second screenshot I provided. To me it's not.

I'd be livid if it happened to me
But what is the solution?
The only way to make sure that is impossible is no hits out of the zone, otherwise it will happen at some point

I'm okay with giving up the occasional hit like that. Even if its followed up by a 2 run homer. But this was just ridiculous and cost me 5 runs against a player who couldn't recognize a pitch if his life depended on it.

I get it, you have every right to be ticked off, I just don't see any acceptable solution to prevent it.

A solution would be a band aid akin to what was implemented to combat bunt cheese, which ruined sac bunting, including in franchise mode. The game don’t need more band aids.
-
Was the hitter Vlad Sr? I mean, he could hit balls in any location for a hit. Didn't he once hit a bounced ball for a HR? If he had that hidden quirk in the game I could see this. Anyone else, I hope this is an isolated issue.
-
The pitching in this game is an absolutely s.h.i.t.show and SDS will never admit how bad it is. I swear it pulls my slideers just into the zone enough for someone to hit a homer and when it’s outside the zone, they still smash it. What a joke. Get off your butts and do something SDS.

So he has the right to be ticked off and you would be livid if it happened to you…but when someone who you obviously don’t like has issues with the hitting in this game, the same issues you experience in your own games, you downplay they’re comments?? You really are confused aren’t you about your beliefs. Just wow.

I don't think he downplayed it, he's right. There is no solution because this is what the game is.

He downplays my issues, along with others, every chance he gets. If your not in his “good old boy” club your issues are non relevant….despite the fact that he experiences the same issues himself. He’s all confused.

Were they the same pitch type? Sometimes individual pitch confidence gets low, even lower than total pitcher confidence.
Sometimes that has a part to play in it. Not trying to justify anything, just trying to explain what may have happened in those outcome rolls.
If I give up back to back flukes like that, it's a mound visit every time for me.

I don't remember man I played a ton of games today. Either way I know how to play this game and I know all the stuff you mention, and I also put it into practice. So I doubt that I kept throwing the same pitch without mound visits.
