PSA: White Jersey = Home, Colored Jersey = Away

But I wanna look cool.
-
I make everything white just to annoy people who care

Plenty of teams wear colored jerseys for home games. They are alternates, but they do it. Rays were their light blue and navy jerseys at home on different days. They also wear the Navy and grey jerseys on the road, so I'd disagree about the jersey colors. The only real thing I don't recall is seeing any teams wearing white pants on the road.
Dbacks do it all the time
-
It’s not about the jerseys, it’s about the pants.

No white pants for your away uniforms ffs.
Grayish only
-
Yeah, I’m more annoyed by the white pants on the road guys.
-
Title is incorrect. It isnt jerseys, it is pants. MLB wears gray road pants white at home. Jerseys can be team colors, or white for home and gray for away. But as others have said its a game. let people do what they want with the unis. That being said I stick to what they do IRL.

Come on guys, it’s not that difficult. When you design your jerseys, it makes sense to follow the historical norms that have been in place for over a century. Yes, hone teams over the last few decades have occasionally worn dark jerseys, but 99% of the time, the home team should be wearing white.
thank you mate wow yeah its such a small pet peeve to see ppl with no clue

I disagree. The Nationals, (my favorite team, therefore the team I see the most of), wear their red jerseys at home more often than they wear their whites. This might be a consequence of having ugly [censored] white jerseys, but it still remains that they often wear red at home.
Yeah but they still wear white pants at home and grey on the road, which I think is the point OP is trying to make.
-
Homes are a free for all but as for away just not white.
-
It’s definitely peak internet when you post a general rule, openly acknowledge that there are exceptions, then a chorus of replies that point out various exceptions like the OP somehow isn’t aware there are exceptions. And of course, it’s not a big deal and we can all do what we want. But it’s not debatable that it’s dumb when both teams are wearing white uniforms.
Now that this has been workshopped, I guess my official take is just please don’t have white road jerseys. -
