Collections Question

Curious people’s thoughts…I’m closing in on 200k stubs…don’t do RS and have a good enough team thru FotF for events & any of the other content thus far…picked up a couple things on market that will likely become pricey once they disappear.
Question is..should I keep saving and spend all on Trout? Pack luck hasn’t been good at all (Mookie, Starling Marte and Machado is all I’ve pulled thus far and Tork from HL). I know will continue to rise but I feel like knocking that out and hopefully pulling a few more diamonds along the way will help, but maybe I should be doing it the other way and knocking out all the other diamonds, waiting for Trout.

Just depends how long you are willing to wait for price to come down and how bad do you want the collection rewards. Honestly to me the rewards this year, except maybe Frank and Randy and Utley are kind of meh... If you are just looking for a top notch team full of the best players, then buying legends and prospects you want will always be cheaper than live series collections. How important is having every card to you?

Fair point, I do honestly like the collecting aspect of DD and that’s what originally lured me in..ripping packs and completing collections…I figure if I can do the live series collection it’ll give me a good boost for whenever the first big collection comes as well

Good point here. The LS collections are overall meh but you need to do it because when the next big collection comes out you have to use all those cards. I also enjoy the card collecting aspect of the game despite the fact I know it is a coin sink.

Curious what you bought expecting the prices to go up? I'm assuming stuff from either BR, Events, or RS.
Also idk how many packs you've opened but your luck has been better than mine. I've opened a bit over a 100 standard packs, plus a few ballin and headliners and 0 diamonds at all. I'm back up to 50 packs and I don't even want to open them it's too disappointing lol.

Ya, just some of the early season BR and Event rewards; not trying to make a profit, just want to collect them.
And it’s been a bunch of packs between the rewards, a bunch of the conquest and preorder. All three came pretty early in the process so it just feels like it’s been a bit for a diamond lolol
